Even with free agency now 5 weeks since it started and the draft just days away, the Raiders are still busy adding players. Today the team announced they have added 23 year old free agent cornerback Daryl Worley. The former third round pick (77 overall) is entering his third NFL season out of West Virginia where he was teammates with Raiders safety Karl Joseph. Both players were selected in the 2016 draft, Joseph in the first round at 14 overall. The 6-1, 205-pound Worley has started 25 games in two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, including 14 starts last season. In two seasons he has recorded 3 interceptions, 19 passes defended, 150 tackles (111 solo), and two sacks. Worley allowed fewer than 1.18 yards per coverage snap while facing 75+ targets in 2016 & 2017. No Raiders CB bested such figures in each of the past two seasons. If you’re wondering why a player with this kind of production over two seasons would be a free agent right now, it’s not a mystery. Worley had been traded to the Eagles this offseason in exchange for wide receiver Torrey Smith. Then just over a week ago, he was arrested and released by the Eagles. According to reports Worley was found passed out in a vehicle blocking the highway. He was then tasered and arrested, and a gun was also recovered from the scene. Worley faced six charges following his arrest, including driving under the influence, possession of an instrument of crime and resisting arrest. I just have to say that ummm Kolton Miller is trash and wasn't even worth a top 3 round pick. Dude might have impressive measurables but his game film was ass and he played like ass against weaker competition, now he's coming to the NFL and gonna get Von Miller, Chubb, Shane Ray, Bosa, Houston, Ingram. He's toast.

If Miller does slip to Friday night, he probably will go very quickly in the second round. Can see that Charlie Campbell disagrees with you there, so we shall see. I know this much for sure, K. Miller has a hell of a lot of help on this O-line, lining up next to 4 Pro Bowl+ caliber veterans and two of the better blocking tight ends in the league as well. I also know that Belichick was lurking for K. Miller in the 1st as Solder's replacement and he ended up with Wynn, so there's that as well
