Khabib's knuckles grappled with McGregor's chin a couple times too. Knocked McGregor on his ass. Would've been an 8 count in boxing

In the blink of an eye Chargers open a 2 score lead Smh
Only chance for a comeback is the fact that it's the Chargers with the lead

Game winning 63 yard FG drops the Giants to 1-4. That's tough

Lol RAIDERS should just forfeit every game until they leave for Vegas. Don't even play the games. Just show up for the draft and then disappear come fall

Rams defense getting picked apart. It’s going down to the wire.

    Defense was shit today.

Goff and Gurley bailed them out. Lost both Cooks and Kupp to concussions in the first half.

Thought we were done after that happened but the team pulled it out and silenced those depressed Hawks fans. 3 game lead already I like it but a loooooong way to go.

Bucky Brooks - " This could be the last year for Derek Carr with the RAIDERS. This might be it. They can get out from under his contract after this season. All the guaranteed money will be paid up, a minimal cap hit. When you look at the move to trade Mack, getting those 1st round picks, Gruden could just figure Carr's not the player he thought he'd be and go for one of these shiny, new toys in the college game and make that guy his franchise QB. "

Not a surprise, said similar a while back. Last 13 first rd QBs - only 1 bust, and with so much college offense in the NFL now, Carr may really end up out on his ass. Damn amazing. Feels like the fastest fall ever

Seemed destined for glory in 2016. Constantly coming up clutch late in games and appeared to have that "it" factor to him. Like returning vs the Panthers with a glove to lead a game tying TD, and then set up the game winning FG.

Will always wonder where DC would be at today if he didn't break his leg vs the Colts. We were 12-3 with him in 2016 and would have probably had homefield vs the Steelers in round 2 had he stayed healthy. An AFC title game appearance was very possible....damn.

The single dumbest play in RAIDERS' modern day history, IMO. So avoidable. You're winning by 20-22 points with 7 or so minutes left in the 4th quarter, and on 3rd down and 22 you're trying drop back and pass? Just run the ball and play defense, the game is won. And that's how the cookie crumbled. One play. Amazing to think they could be going to Vegas without Mack and Carr, but at least a shiny, new stadium is waiting.

I hope they're forced to leave Oakland next season. Just get the fuck out of that dump, especially if they draft Justin Herbert. I don't want the next QB playing on that shit. Herbert looks like the guy, but the Giants are probably targeting him to replace Eli. Might have to go 1-15 to get him....

Khabib Nurmagomedov threatens to leave UFC, forfeit paycheck
by Jay Busbee | Yahoo Sports — 11 hours ago

Khabib Nurmagomedov beat Conor McGregor on Saturday night, and he’s not backing down from a showdown with the UFC either.

On his Instagram, Nurmagomedov posted a message directed at the UFC, a scattershot blast that included a defense of his teammate, a threat to leave the UFC, and a disregard of his still-unpaid $2 million purse from the fight.

    khabib_nurmagomedov
I would like to address @ufc
Why didn't you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?

Why do you have to punish my team, when both teams fought. If you say that I started it, then I do not agree, I finished what he had started.

In any case, punish me, @zubairatukhugov has nothing to do with that.
If you think that I’ll keep silent then you are mistaken. You canceled Zubaira’s fight and you want to dismiss him just because he hit Conor. But don’t forget that it was Conor who had hit my another Brother FIRST, just check the video.

if you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too. We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother. If you still decide to fire him, don’t forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise I'll break it myself.

And one more thing, you can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end.
    #Brothers

    KHABIB SEES A DOUBLE STANDARD

Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in the fourth round of their UFC 229 title bout Saturday night. Almost immediately afterward, the arena erupted in a melee. Nurmagomedov leaped the Octagon fence and challenged members of McGregor’s team, while members of Khabib’s team came at McGregor. Now, there’s the possibility that the UFC could fire some of Nurmagomedov’s teammates, specifically Zubaira Tukhugov. To Nurmagomedov, that stinks of a double standard, particularly when considered in light of the McGregor-incited attack on a bus in Brooklyn earlier this year that carried Nurmagomedov and his team.

“Why didn’t you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people?” Nurmagomedov wrote. “They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?”

He continued with a defense of his teammate. “If you think that I’ll keep silent then you are mistaken. You canceled Zubaira’s fight and you want to dismiss him just because he hit Conor. But don’t forget that it was Conor who had hit my another Brother FIRST, just check the video.”

THREAT TO LEAVE UFC AND ABANDON MONEY

Nurmagomedov then upped the ante by threatening to leave the UFC altogether:

“If you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too,” he wrote. “We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother. If you still decide to fire him, don’t forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise I’ll break it myself.”

Finally, Nurmagomedov said that the UFC could keep his yet-unpaid $2 million purse from the fight: “And one more thing, you can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end.” McGregor has gotten his check.

Clearly, the ripples from UFC 229 aren’t going away. Nurmagomedov is all in; the next move now belongs to the UFC.

Doubt he is, but the UFC got what they needed from him here. Another headline.

    Khabib is the real deal.
Did you see the interview that he and his dad had with Putin after the match?
It is hard for me not to root for this kind of people.
Khabib just did the old Drago move to the UFC.
    "I must break you".
    "If he dies, he dies".

    khabib is the real deal
of course i rooted for my countryman
but i also predicted khabib to win
like good pitching beats good hitting, a good grappler will generally beat a good striker
conor is a lot like tyson in that intimidates opponents and gets in their heads
khabib is one of those guys it doesn't work on
conor thought he had another nate diaz
but khabib's grappling skills were amazing
not just the choke out but the way he used his weight/leverage to tire conor out
    just a great performance

Nobody can compare with the eastern europeans and the muslim turkmen when it comes to wrestling.
They harden their tendons and ligaments before they even learn a hold or a throw.
