Weird ass game where like everyone but Gurley showed up in fantasy. Even both defenses got positive points because of 3 defensive touchdowns.
Feels like the Titans are maybe the only team that can stop the Saints from winning the SB at this point. Must have good corners so the safeties can be used to stop the Saints' running game/short passing game feat. Kamara out of the backfield, and the Titans have good/experienced corners and good safeties as well. And then of course you have to have a running game and keep Brees off the field as much as possible, which the Titans also have. However, the Titans went out and got their asses whipped yesterday by the Colts, so they may not even get into the tourney. Could very well need a big injury to stop the whodat train
Titans offense isn’t good enough to hang with the Saints, even if their D can slow them down. Someone has to get them out of a dome and with the Super Bowl in ATL, that ain’t happening. I guess to beat them, you just have to have to have an offense that can score 6 every drive (hello LA and KC), not turn the ball over even once, and manage to get like 1 defensive stop
It would have to become a time of possession game for the Titans, using their running game and controlling the amount of possessions. But the Saints can stop the run, so it's not like they'd have a great chance. Just maybe a better chance than some of these high flying teams that can't play a lick of defense or begin to even think about stopping Drew Brees Elements are definitely a big factor. But the problem for LAR and KC is that their secondaries are trash and Brees can move the ball in his sleep against them
KC's biggest problems are their ILB's and Safeties. Could honestly use an upgrade at nose tackle too. They are good at getting after the QB's, just their LBs are so bad at covering and tackling and their safeties are so bad at covering. Need to get Eric Berry back, that will do wonders.
That's why I don't like their chances against the Saints. 2nd and 3rd level defenders have to be up to par to slow the Saints' O. The quick passing game/screen game can take care of the pass rush. Brees, especially, is not a guy who takes sacks and generally finds the hot Feels like I haven't really seen Berry play like Berry in a while, so I wonder if he can still bring prime performance to the table. I can see why KC was hot after Earl Thomas earlier this season. The Cowboys, if they had gotten their hands on Earl Thomas, would've maybe been a team with the traits to give the Saints some problems. Their corners and linebackers can play and then of course they eat up clock with Zeke Can only hope. Especially since it seems the NFC East and NFC North are shitty enough this season to let the Bears and Cowboys claim those divisions. Those 1st round picks are already falling, so our own 1st round pick needs to be at least Top 3. But even with the RAIDERS currently sitting at #3 overall, both SF and the Cards have their QBs of the future and now, so those two teams could take the top 2 pass rushers off the board. I'm hoping the Cards start looking for Fitz's replacement and that they draft Arizona State WR Harry to learn from Fitz
Harbaugh has got to be in trouble now. Can’t seem to beat Ohio State to save his life, even when Ohio seems vulnerable this year. If you can’t beat Ohio St as a Wolverines coach, your days are numbered.
Let me research to see if this guy had a father.... Let's kneel and pretend it's racist cops that mess these guys up.
From a letter from Trojan AD to boosters re. retaining Clay Helton as head coach........ “We acknowledge and understand our deficiencies in areas that include culture, discipline, schemes, personnel and staff,” he wrote. “We agree that changes need to be made … Coach Helton has a plan in place to get USC back to the top.” -------------------- Sounds like Clay just needs to tweak a few things.
Let due process take course. I do not see anything wrong with the redskins claiming him and stashing him until the situation plays out.
" Let due process take course "..that feels like something the 49ers would have done before releasing him if it were worth it. They certainly did the 2 previous times.
