Same here, I woke up this morning and had no memory that there was a superbowl today. Had french toast, turkey bacon, super thin aswesomely good hash browns and a fried egg for breakfast. Then spent most of the day ankle to knee deep with a couple of uncles in muddy waters replacing bad pvc pipes. Finished by eating a big ol slightly overcooked porterhouse for dinner with some potato curry and rice. Much better day than sitting in front of the TV watching football and commercials while eating junk. I save that for when the Dodgers and Lakers make the championship next year!

Ditto, bro. The last time I gave a shit was when Gruden's Bucs destroyed the Raiders and started their decades long suckitude. Basketball for me might as well be hockey...no longer care. I was a Laker fan long ago, when they weren't even in LA. Baseball is the game , imo...just unfortunate my team can't figure how to win a championship. We are however, elite.
The bacon being Turkey and the porterhouse being dried up a bit probably saved my heart. And all the slogging around digging up pipe. The hash browns were super thin so they did not have to fry much to get crispy. Exactly like i like em. The french toast was super decadent though. Thick sourdough crusty bread with lots of batter and butter and syrup. But hey the butter is from the green grasses of Ireland. And Irish people eat a lot of butter and they are healthy. Oh and I also had a couple of Monterey beer. A knockoff of Corona made in Guatemala and sold at Aldi supermarkets. They opened an Aldi next to the Home Depot where I had to go and get emasculated by some old hippy making me feel like a child for asking if the pipe fittings I had chosen were the correct ones for what I wanted to do. Then again I was wearing a cowboy hat indoors with shorts and flipflops so I probably had it coming.
I try not to eat the pig, I already resemble one enough as it is. As a good crypto jew I only eat pork when it comes n the form of bacon in my burger or pepperoni on my pizza.
