that snake is fucking badass WOW
all i got but i love my monkeys
I would like to have seen what Cohen would have done with the role, for sure. A big fan.
I probably wouldn't have seen it, but my gf is a Queen freak, so I did.
As a movie, I appreciated the way it was put together and the Live Aid concert was very impressive...epic.
To a guy who wasn't a huge fan (although I marvelled at Mercury's pipes), it was extremely entertaining to me. I usually see a movie and come away with the positive aspects of it, not the negative...that's because I'm such an optimist, lol.
Except for the fucking Dodgers.
I'm not phobic on snakes, but in Denver, I saw a poisonous snake bite a handler at a middle school demo. Kids were screaming, the guy almost died, what a colossal effup it was. I was watching that, waiting for the death moment.

Just heard a Stern interview with Ben Stiller...funny and interesting.
Worth sharing a bit about his dad...
He hated the Beatles because he thought they were anti Semetic.
They had a big hit with the song "Hate Jews".
Take a sad song and make it better....
mass shooting in Thousand Oaks. Stay safe guys.
Yup, another decorated ex vet does it again.
may have lost a friend there... waiting to hear
Judas ... that's grim.
Former student was in Vegas for that mass shooting. He was at that concert. Then I read where people at that Borderline club last night had been in Vegas as well. What sort of cruel, messed up luck is that?
I'm going to avoid country music get togethers for awhile.
Pretty much, yeah. I rarely go to shows anymore but I'd re-think my attendance at any crowded event at this point, unless I knew there'd be properly armed security on hand.
Thinking about this all day. Did you hear from your friend? Thoughts and prayers man.
Sorry to hear, man. Did you ever hear from your friend?
My dad and step-mom live (lived?) in Paradise, CA. The whole town was destroyed by fire, their house is probably gone, but they don't know yet. Fortunately they got out of town and my other relatives up there got out as well.
Hope all is well, bro.
Sorry for your family and yourself it's a horrible situation up there. Good news on the rest of your relatives.
From sad to hopeful. Former Dodger Ken Howell passed last night at 57, too young. Don't know the details. Andrew Whitworth of the Rams will donate his paycheck to the victims of the shooting in Thousand Oaks.
