Yeah but when all those carbs and fat and lack of thinking and preparation coalesce into the power juice that puts ice in his veins during the crunch when everyone elses balls are up their colon and Hoc is blasting homers and winning playoff games for them we will be singing another tune. One called remember the the time we fell in love with Joc Pederson.
    Do you remember girl!

Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully got a special delivery from the Dodgers on Monday: His very own 2020 World Series championship ring.

Never a doubt he’d get one

Wouldn’t be surprised if they gave one to Tommy’s family

Rather have a bunch of Jocs than a bunch of Anals on the team.
Every team needs a couple of good Jocs.
Jocs can come up big like underdogs with a good coach who thinks for them.
Anals want to be the coach.
Jocs and Anals are close together and taintly meet at the balls.
But I bet you would rather have a Jocs itch than an Anals roids.
Regardless of the how long the slump.
Whats important is how your balls are hanging during the holidays.
Not during the time when nobody is really paying too much attention.
Except the bettors and the bookies cheering for the predictable Anals who should theoretically be better players than Jocs even if the Anals routinely get outshined by the Jocs when the balls are on the court and the gavel is ready to drop.
Jocs pass the testes while Anals prepare you for the test.
Anals know the test better than Jocs.
But Anals sometimes choke because they care too much about the game.
While Jocs care too much about their appetites.
Which makes Jocs better at the game when it is time to take the game most seriously which means play it like a Joc by nature not an anal which is by nurture.

On a championship team with the expectations to be #1 at the end of the year not merely the end of the regular season a guy like Joc is way more valuable than a guy who is probably a near all star during the regular season but chokes in big games or in the clutch or in the playoffs.
Dodgers dont need Joc to help them win the division or get into the postseason.
They got plenty of players like that.
    Joc is a special tool.
And Anal type players should be put around Joc types as support.
    Not the other way around.

For instance as a teacher you would not like it if a student was routinely late to class and missed lots of homework even if he scores near the top of the class for his tests and major assignments because it is important for the students character and the institution to encourage the ethic that work and perseverance and doing things the right away builds the type of character and blah blah blah that the Anals want the Jocs to take on so the Anals can have time to find their weaknesses and even the playing field for themselves.
You gotta watch out for them tricky Anals.

    Exactly
That's in academics but in sports you need the wildcards.

Fucking Giants finally lost today. Came from behind (homo preference) again to take a lead. Phils scored the game winner in the bottom of the 9th.

Pads are obviously better, but the Giants are probably going to be just as big a pain in the ass.

    Jacob deGrom is ridiculous

Would not want to play the Mets in a series because of him alone

    Ned Colletti
    @realnedcolletti

It took 14,360 days from the first day of my MLB career until today. That is a very long time. I am so honored to be on the receiving end of this symbol of a championship season put together by a team – a team of players, staff, executives, fans representing a city of Champions.

Congratulations Ned, and thank you for bringing me to the
    @Dodgers!!!

Congrats to Ned. He seems like a genuinely good dude and did bring in some of the big pieces on the roster that contributed to the WS.

Watching Rich Hill spin an absolute gem against Oakland. Glad the blister is holding up.

As frustrating as he was early on with the blisters, I grew to admire Hill the competitor and Hill the man even more with what he went through in his personal life.

And the man was clutch as hell in the playoffs. I'll always remember game 6 vs the cheaters and game 4 vs Boston where he shouldn't have been pulled.
