Royals/Dodgers would be the ultimate bunt fest.

Cardinals announced their rotation: Wainwright, Lynn, Lackey, and Miller

    Very beatable

As always, this offense needs to show up.

We got beat last year because Clayton and Grienke lost games where they surrendered one run each. We can beat these guys handily if the offense gets plays their part.

Also helps that we have more weapons as opposed to only having Hanley last year.

very beatable, but not because they won't pitch well. Lynn took care of the Dodgers last year and Miller has the talent..Lackey the experience. but our lineup is better than it was last year..just sayin that STL has a good group of starters. i mean i don't even see a true ace on the Nats' staff, nor is there one on the Pirates' staff.

all righties..which means we'll probably see very little Turner and SVS.

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu threw 45 pitches in a three-inning simulated game on the mound at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, in what the team hopes was the final hurdle to clear for him to start Game 3 of the NLDS against the Cardinals on Monday in St. Louis.
Ryu, who has been dealing with left shoulder inflammation and hasn't pitched since Sept. 12, threw at his "normal velocity" and used all of his pitches during the simulated game, the Dodgers said, and reported no problems before, during or after pitching.
Among the Dodgers hitters he faced were Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig, Andre Ethier, Carl Crawford, Dee Gordon and Scott Van Slyke.

When do we find out the roster...tomorrow morning as Vinny said, or a few hours before game time? What's the usual procedure? Anyone?

i know all the experts are hmming and hawing about this series
but imo we should be heavy favorites
the cards are still good, but their offense is nowhere as powerful as the team we faced last year
they finished 10th in runs scored, whereas we finished 2nd

    Stl is gonna hate LA.
    Dodgers will sweep the Cards.
Kings will demolish the Blues in the playoffs.
We will steal the Rams back.

Last year playoff tickets sold out in an hour. No word yet this season. Curious about that 3:37 start time tomorrow. We've seen empty seats in an Nlcs game before.

runs scored doesn't even tell the half the story..there's now zero reason to pitch to Holiday with Beltran gone. our only worry should be Kersh and Greinke wasting bullets on Carpenter's irritating ass..that's 1 irritating fucker.

Could it mean that the suits in TVLand consider the other game more "prime time" than ours? Think that a possibilty?
Or do they draw straws or some shit? Is this decided way before hand?
When there's $ involved, I gotta think they feel we're not the pull against the Cards as the other one.

heard from a manager at Stub Hub that Fox wanted to put the Dodger game in prime time but MLB stepped in and awarded it to the Angels for having a better record. That doesn't sound right but just what I heard.

Everyone I've talked to is shocked the Dodgers don't have the night game on Friday.

Big fail by mlb network. Promo for the Cards Dodgers game had a Victor Rojas soundbite ("light that baby up!") on a clip of a matt kemp HR.

Light that baby up is said by Rojas after an angels win. Lol fail.
