I've seen Carl Furillo, the Reading Rifle. I've seen Raul Modesi...both had arms that only come along once in a while. But never have I seen an arm as uncannily accurate and powerful as Puig's. It's hard to believe. IMO, he has a chance to be one of the best defensive players ever, after he learns what to do. And that dopey catch he insists on...but Mays was among of the best, and his basket catch was so hot dog, it was incredible.
But he was Willie, and he got away with it... he was so good, he may not have known he was being a hot dog. Just natural for him.
Maybe it will hold true for Yasiel, too.
    Out in the OF anyway.

I'm glad Vinny told us about Beckett feeling under the weather, and gassed, and that's why DBB made the move. because otherwise, it looked real dumb...maybe Josh should be run down and insomniac every time he goes out there. Best I've ever seen him throw as a LAD.
Lee vs. Maholm sounds a bit unfair, but you never know.
Donnie is only 53?? I was surprised at hearing that. I know where part of his life was spent, as an athlete working out all the time, but why does he look so much older than 53?
Must be HoF manager, Joe Torre's influence...makes you age quickly.

Should have been a sweep but 2 out of 3 aren't bad.

Yeah, it was really packed, I think there was literally more people in Elysain Park than Dodger Stadium, Elysian was packed.

Also no business for a catcher trying to stretch a double, just about any other player on the team beats that throw, as great as it was.

i'm guessing it may have had a little to do with montero's disdain for puig
he wanted to show him up by having a catcher take an extra base on him
yeah... and how'd that work out for you bkitch?
