Does anyone have a link to the presser where DBB tugs his shirt and picks his face like a fucking ape?

I really need to see that!

The sad thing is, they're not going to fire him or Ned. They've made too much of a big deal of this year being the start of the Dodgers newfound success, firing the manager, even when the team is in last place, will make them look bad and will just show everyone (even if they already know) how everything they've done has backfired outside of Puig and Ck.

Well I haven't went through the whole game thread, but I can only imagine the shit about Don and League. Whatever, I had only a couple things Don did that bugged me.
Bunting with Ramon, although like usual if it works, it might have led to a run. The guy is a .195 hitter, but he has some power. Either sac bunt or go for the HR....but he'd probably GIDP. I don't remember the other thing.

This was a pretty good game and the team showed some fight and battled back. We really needed a good outing from Ryu and it turned out to be not so good, but it was obviously enough to keep us in the game.
The offense suprised me considering we had only 3 guys out there that are everyday starters. I'm happy we got to Corbin and got him out early...but how the fuck do we not score for 6 innings off that bullpen? Once again the lack of offense ended up costing the game IMO.

And Hernandez is the worst catcher I've seen in a longtime. The guy makes an error or more per game. Garbage defence...that play at the plate killed us badly. such an easy out there turns into a run.

The bullpen did pretty good until Don had to go to the bad guys, Beli and League with Gurrier waiting in the wings. Am I forgeting someone?
I thought we'd never score again in this game.

Hats off to Castellanos...he made up for Puig not playing not feel so bad.

Well said guys. That's my biggest problem with his managing style is his need to play it safe. He NEVER goes for the big inning, he almost always goes for the easier to get, 1 run. He's not a gambler. In certain situations it's ok, it all depends on the hitter, the runners, the guy on deck. He only goes for the big inning when it's a big hitter up there which have very little of. Many times I agree with it actually, and even then I still think there's way to many times I don't.

Maybe he has no faith that the guys can get the big hits, lord knows the team rarely does...but he's got to go for it more.

We hade a 4run inning tonight for one reason. Don can't sac bunt with 2 outs. He had to let the guys swing and we put up a 4 spot. Don has to stop Sac bunting everytime there's no outs and a runner on.
IT'S NOT WORKING DON! Read this and please try it for one fucking month!

As far as the giving up big innings...well tonight was really unavoidable wasn't it? I mean if he brings League in earlier, maybe it works...but come on, you guys trust League all of a sudden? Oh, maybe gurrier who's pitched decent lately, but hasn't he pitched in like 10 straight games?
League's so fucked up now, he's giving up runs on ground balls like I've never seen anyone before. It seems like over half the groundballs he gives up find the holes. It's ridiculous. Pitchers for 100 years made a living on groundballs. This guy is just fucked no matter what he gives up.
Watching Gibson and he's worse IMO. That guy last night walked 3 in a row and still gave up the bases clearing 2B! He then uses him 2 innings tonight. If Don did that, we'd have his head!

You didn't know Puig was in the OF prior to his AB? He wasn't a pinchhitter, his place was set before they score 4,364 runs in the 12th.

And Gimme a break...there is actually people on these boards hoping Don would use League sooner? There's no pleasing you guys.

Donnie is a cunt. Plain and simple. How is it he doesn't see what every true fan of the game sees?

    Fuck-up #1:

Withrow, a rookie, for example. Person on 1st and 2nd, and it was evident that his command is way off. Instead of bringing in Paco who is ready, he lets him pitch to Montero, a lefty. Montero drives in a run. Okay, so at this point, we're thinking Withrow is out of the game. Think again, he lets him pitch to Parra, another lefty. He gives up a walk. Okay, so now Mattingly takes him out. This could have been so much worse than it really was, but the damage was done anyway.

    Fuck-up #2:

Andre Ethier leads off with a single. Okay, cool. What does Mattingly do? Has Ramon fucking Hernandez, the 2nd slowest guy on the team, bunt (and eventually fail).

Fuck-up #3 (this just has "I want to be fired naowwww" written all over it):

He brings in Belisario. Now, we all hold our breath because this guy has been straight-up shit. Just terrible. And this is with a man on 2nd base, mind you. He gets the 2nd out thanks to Pollock. Gives up a walk to Parra. Gets Goldschmidt out. Okay, cool, Belisario didn't give up 3 runs after 2/3 of an inning pitched. Next inning, we're waiting for Guerrier, who was warming up. Now, I would prefer Moylan in this case, who has a career 2.54 ERA, but whatever. But noooooooo, Belisario is still in, so we're all cringing at this point. Belisario gives up a double on his 6th pitch in the inning. He's surely gone now, right? Wrong. Next batter, Montero, he gives up a single. Now? Naaaaaa. Double to Prado. Fuckkkkkk, how about nowwww? Hold up, let him load up the bases by intentionally walking Didi for Brandon fucking League. League comes in, conveniently gives up a single, walk, and the usual, 2 runs. 8-4, who gives fuck anymore at this point, honestly?

    ----

These are the major fuck-ups by Mattingly that could have easily been avoided. I'm fairly certain that broom could manage our team better than Mattingly. Needless to say, I'm a fucking heated at the moment. What a complete waste of time this game was.

Is it a blowdart thing like Vin said? I thought it was a trumpet first, and then realized it was the DBacks and figured it was cockblowing.

I'd really like to know how Parra goes like 6-12 in the series. Or how about Ross, another Dodger killer. Did we scout so much on Goldshit that we forgot to figure out how to pitch to those two cunts? They've been buttfucking us for a couple years now. Wake the fuck up!

We had 3 starters playing tonight. One of them is Ellis, I'm suprised we made a game out of it...twice.

Yeah, this isn't the team I paid money to see on Opening Day. This entire season has been a drag. Get healthy quick and start fucking winning.

No way, they somehow got Puig ready during the game. They work miracles!
I heard that Puig was taking a few pitches in BP and just walked out all pissed of becuase he couln't swing without pain. 7 innings later he's all fired up and ready to go! He later throws a laser in the outfield and rifles a bullet for a hit and looks like a million bucks!
PEDs or the trainers are miracle workers.

We need AZ to go on an 8 game losing streak while we play a game above .500 for a week or so
