Cards beat the Padres 4-3 on a TERRIBLE out call at home that robbed the Pads of tying the game at 4-4. The sad thing? They reviewed it and still got it wrong. Location of the game was in St. Louis. So in the past two days, St. Louis and San Fransisco have benefited from horrible calls at home to win. Maddening

I wouldn't say the SF one was "horrible", but Perzynski was standing on the baseline lol.

The SF one really showed how messed up the rule is. Blanco was out by 15 feet and got the run because the White Sox had his foot in front.

They really need to overhaul the rule so it can be effective and not a big clusterfuck. Safety is fine, but fix the rule

I agree that the rule is retarded and idiotic because there's no way they should've been awarded a run. That's just how it is for now unfortunately.

Bruce Bochy and the San Francisco Giants really do suck. Sometimes I say that as a hyperbole of our spirited rivalry, but this whole plate-blocking rule is retarded and it gained momentum because their catcher doesn't know how to play his position. Bochy loves to argue ticky-tack little rules. The truth is Tyler Flowers wasn't blocking the plate without the ball because Blanco was not to the plate yet... how is it "blocking the plate without the ball" if no one is there?

The Giants are in the midst of their luckiest inning of the season. 5-4 Phils.

Just saw that happen, shit looked terribly painful. I highly doubt he pitches again this season, tough break for them.

Garrett Richards is out 6-9 months

Angels acquired INF Gordon Beckham from the WhiteSox, that'll fix the pitching problem!

(WhiteSox need to trade Adam Dunn to the Dodgers now)
