    Hard to watch.
Stanton should be able to come back from that, whenever...because if it doesn't affect his sight in any way (surely hope not), his injuries should not interfere with his physical BB skills.
Although, who knows what getting clocked like that does to you mentally.
I remember Ishii getting one of his noggin, and how far the ball bounced off his head....I thought he would never come back.
    Good luck, kid.

More reason for Giancarlo to come to LA....we have the best plastic surgeons in the world.

Trade Joc, Puig, Lee and Reed for him in the off-season.

Not both Joc and Puig, One or the other. Don't need to destroy all of our youth. Maybe a 3 team deal. CC should have value now, trade him for specs, and flip them with Joc, Lee, and Reed for Stanton.

I give you Tony Conigliaro, look him up and then trade the farm for Stanton. HOPING it won't be the case but I can't endorse getting him until he's back next year. Put yourself in his shoes, baseball coming directly at your face, it would be hard for me to get back in there.

So Chris Davis gets pinched for adderrol or an undisclosed amphetamine, yet the MLB allows some players to use adderrol??? If I were him I'd get my money back because it isn't working LOL.

Yeah. It doesn't make any sense that they allow players to use it, refuse his use, and then ban him.

Granted, he shouldn't have taken it if he knew he wasn't allowed, but still.

I really doesn't make sense. If it's considered performance enhancing then no one should be able to use it, period. If you can't function without it then I guess you're not a MLB player. That's the bottom line. On the other hand if it's okay for guys who "need" it then it must not be much of a performance enhancer. I'd like to see a list of guys who have the exception. Can anyone make that happen?

Idgaf... I'll take Kemp, SVS and Stanton all day. Could care less about defense at that point because we could sign a +++ defender in the OF with a light bat and play him twice a week and have him play late in close games.

Also, CC has no value, none, with that contract.

Read up. He had a pass to use it in 2013. He did NOT receive that pass for 2014, but continued to use it. He fucked up. Plain and simple. It isn't "some can and some can't", it's apply for the pass and abide by the decision.

I get that. That's not what I mean. I understand he had an exemption one season and then didn't have it this season. My point is if this is a performance enhancing drug then I don't give a fuck how ADHD you are, you can't use it and be a ball player. Or on the other hand, if it doesn't enhance your game and isn't illegal then it shouldn't be an issue and everyone can take it as they please.

Further more, you can't say it isn't some can and some can't and then follow it with apply for a pass and abide by the decision. That is pretty much the definition of some can and some can't.

Bottom line is, it's a drug. It has a use and has those that abuse it. Further more, drugs affect different people differently. What helps me focus on the task at hand may make you a more 'hyped' person. I personally feel that ADHD drugs are over prescribed and overused. But that doesn't matter. The guy knew the rule and said "fuck it", and this is his second offense so he knew better and still decided to use it. He gets no sympathy from me.

The shit that went down in the Os/BJ game was incredible.
I've always hated the dancing monkey, Jose Reyes, since his Met fucking idiocy/ hotdogging....huge scumbag. And he overreacted to a play at home when the O's catcher inadvertently stepped on his hand. Totally unintentional.
Next inning the BJ pitcher comes out and throws an all-out fastball at the AB player's head, and just misses it. In light of over nothing, the guy should be disciplined, but hard.
What a douchebag. There was nothing to merit this kind of behavior at all, nothing.
Showalter was fuming, and rightly so.

BTW, love that his main picture is with his future teammate, Yasiel.
