The Braun thing makes me smile. Awesome.....

My favorite part is when he told them to retest him after the playoffs. Moron.

And the Marlins signed Aaron Rowand. Must be a big downer for the fans after all the Albert Pujols talk.

Are you bitter about the opting out situation still or what? He was good for us.

No, I was very happy with Drew opting out. It got the Dodgers out of a massive Boras contract. I couldn't believe Bosox paid that much money to scoop him up. Still gives me the giggles.

As we all know, JD is prone to the DL. Sometimes he is hurt. Sometimes he just needs rest. And you never know when he might want to be on there. Maybe when you are 33/34 and you have a bad year, you can bounce back. When you are 36-37 and you have a bad year, it may be time to hang up the cleats. Ned is notorious for signing guys looking to pick up a nice retirement check on their way out of the major leagues.

And then there's the issue of dealing with Boras right now - right after he made fun of the Dodgers publicly - calling us fruits and nuts? Show us some respect, you've made many millions off the Dodgers.

Lol, he didn't call the Dodgers fruits and nuts, he said they were shopping in the fruits and nuts section. That made me chuckle though.

If the Rox get Beltran, you can count on him hitting 30/100 around Tulo and Cargo.

So you'd like to see Drew in a bench role? Maybe bring him in for a big late-inning pinch walk? Good clubhouse guy, no?

LOL, man...you hit the nail on the head there mouse! Everytime that guy came up to drive in a big run, he'd try to work the walk and leave it for someone like Castro or Cora or someone else less capable than him. He was never a fighter...he'd rather pass the buck. Fuckin Finook!

Another reason and further proof Ned is a moron.

    http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/12/twins-agree-to-sign-josh-willingham.html

Uribe and Willignham now have equal contracts, 3 years and $21M. Here is the comparison between the two in terms of career (162 game) averages (btw, they are both 32 but Uribe has played 11 ML seasons to Josh's 8 years in the majors):

    Uribe: .253/.298/.423/.721 with 69 runs scored, 30 doubles, 5 triples, 19 HRs, 76 RBI, 5 SB, 34 BBs and 109 Ks
    Willingham: .262/.361/.475/.836 with 79 runs scored, 32 doubles, 3 triples, 27 HRs, 88 RBI, 6 SB, 73 BBs and 135 Ks

Put up the defense and Uribe blows him away. This is a bullshit comparison....and don't you think that Uribe is a bit more tired from playing 3 more seasons? Let's be far BLF.

Quit trying to manipulate the stats and comparisons to prove Ned is an idiot. We all already know that! :p

latos is good, dont get me wrong. he was going to cost a lot via trade, but the reds gave up a lot

this is why i dont ned making any trades. he's similar to jocketty
