    My ideal lineup with the resources/players/prospects we currently have:

    Dee - SS
    Castellanos - 3B
    Kemp - CF
    Ethier - RF
    Sands - LF
    M Ellis - 2B
    Van Slyke - 1B
    AJ Ellis - C

    I think we need to see our youngs play and give them SIGNIFICANT playing time. They are not going to be worse than Uribe, Loney and Rivera combined. Plus, youth always brings energy to the game and we can showcase them in case a good name can be had at the trade deadline.

    It's simply amazing to start a series at the top of your division, yet feel that you are the David and the other team the Goliath. 2 vs. 9 indeed.
    A testament to Ned...the news of his "to do" list is a Pyrrhic victory, IMO. No doubt Dre needs his name in ink on a new contract...but does this in any way indicate Ned staying on?
    IDK...but where are those frowning smilies again?

    i think im favor of Castellanos right now though. in left field.
    call up Sands to platoon with Loney and use Rivera as a bench bat

    Not worth making a roster move for Sands, the difference between him and Rivera at best is insignificant, at worst he embarrasses himself and doesn't get regular playing time.

    I like Castellanos too but give him more than 60 PAs. Maybe mid-May if he's still raking.

    God no to David Wright. A declining 3B who's gonna have to be a left fielder by 2014 who wants a 6 year 9 figure deal. Pass.
