Hope Alexis wants to prove something to the Braves so they take him back!

TBD might as well be the bullpen

They're moving forward, not backward...Wood is just a body to put out there, and hope the offense scores more than the other team. Last year wzs an anomaly, imo.

Isn't every other game a bullpen game?

Wood is known to pitch through injuries throughout his career, even at a detriment to the team and I’d wager money on that being the case here. Came out of a start early(in the midst of a solid outing) and he has been terrible in the two games since. If he gets blown up again, the team probably needs to take initiative, sit him down and tell him he’s going on the DL to get right. He’s too valuable a pitcher when healthy to let him make things worse.

So what you are saying is that Wood is tough.

    Sure, sure...tough as nails.
Way tougher than the meatballs he serves up these days to opposing hitters.
    Prime tender right there.
If that's true that he does hide injuries, then he should be dealt with for putting himself before the good of the team. Do we need self absorbed pricks like that at all? Ever? Especially when you pitch like shit.

Then he should be aka Hardwood when they do that lame AF uni thing!
More of that "Old school unwritten baseball rule book" stuff??

Ironically, tough guys like Wood don't think that way, they think they'll "Hurt the team if they don't play through it"... It's complete and utter BS, especially considering that MLB contracts are guaranteed.

Might as well start to pencil in TBD as "The Bullpen Day"

At this point I have a shot at pitching for the Dodgers.

Batting against a guy that formerly was a team mate is no great oddity or anything, but for some reason, I want to beat Mc Carthy severely.

Gonna be real interesting what they do with Grandal.
I think they make a fair offer as far as $, but the contract length is the sticking point, and he walks behind it.

The Braves should put Swanson in a Culberson jersey and let him bat six times per game. I'd bet nobody would notice.

    Walker breezing...

    More likely to happen?
    a) Dave takes Buehler out with 75 pitches in the 8th inning
    b) Logan makes an error in the 6th after being double switched to 3B
