Indeed, it would be overwhelming, from me alone.
    However, exquisitely done.

Even at his least productive offensively, as now, I don't see that happening.
Whatever problems he has at the plate, he is a valuable gear in the Dodgers machine.

I never condone a man beating up on a woman, but tonight is an exception. I hope we beat the living shit out of Yu!

As somebody who was actually there to witness Darvish blow the World Series in an instant, I have way more contempt in my heart for Clayton, Jansen, Roberts, Brandon McCarthy, etc.

I still think Darvish should hear it a little bit from the crowd, but boos were in order for our golden children Clayton and Kenley too. But they have protected status. Scumbags

i blame roberts and the higher ups more than i blame darvish

kasten/friedman/zaidi et al didn't want their investment to look bad so yu got the ball
could and should have started wood in game 7

roberts should have pulled (homo) darvish after one inning when it was clear to everyone else he didn't have it
big difference between 2-0 and 5-0
might as well have been 10-0, that game was over right then

    that said, fuck darvish too

When Darvish was left in to face Springer...that was it.

At some point one's legacy comes up short if there isn't performance when it matters most, but come on, years of carrying us TO the playoffs is going to buy some "golden child" status. That's just how it works. I'm not saying not to boo if you feel it warranted, but if you compare Yu's body of work as a Dodger with Kershaw and Jansen's, it's not unreasonable to expect him to get less forgiveness.

I'll defend Clayton till my last days on earth when fans of other teams talk shit.
But he's earned the reputation at this point. Game 5 cemented that legacy.

I get your point but I'm talking about who I hold more accountable for what happened in 2017.

    still trying to justify stupidity
the reason people rest on game 7 is because that's all that matters -- you're either world champs or first loser
    fucken idiot
    • Dave Roberts was quick to remind people Darvish had dominant performances en route to the World Series. In fact, one came against the Cubs. "I thought he had some really good moments with us, and people want to rest on Game 7 a lot, which was unfortunate, obviously, for all of us," Roberts said.

Literally everyone had to be available for game 7, and Wood had better success that series. Why not start Wood and have Yu as a potential BP arm?

That being said, CK and Kenley deserve as much blame.

Don't even ask me about the Rox series. Another CK monstrosity.

Roberts and the front office are every bit as culpable as Darvish. But Darvish is the one who shit the bed and cost us a championship, so I hope he never wins a game again. And treating Kershaw and Kenley like they walk on water is annoying and absurd. Both were great, but both also choked big time when we needed them. They're both also now well past their primes. In the end, they have have hurt us as much as they've helped us. I'll always love them for their contributions, but to ignore their epic failures would be myopic and delusional.

I'm getting really tired of Joc's undisciplined at bats. Looks like he goes up there guessing and occasionally runs into one. Hopefully tonight is one of those nights.

How could you keep forgetting? Isn't there communication from the dugout? If not a mound visit, how about shouting to someone like Turner to relay the message? I'm not buying it. I think it's more Kenley being lazy and selfish. If not, I apologize and propose that Geren teach him and Kershaw to intentionally not choke when we need them.

Kenley being a knobhead. I seriously am fearing the post season with Kenley pitching the 9th.
