Yeah, that wasn't a very reassuring appearance from Kenley.

Russell actually wound up the hero...not only for the base hit rbi, but on some awesome blocks on Jansen's pitches.
Anybody know why Cody's arm was considered weak at 83 mph arm strength?
    Don't get it at all.

Was driving home from a father's day thing in Newport Beach (stuck up fkags). So I was stuck listening to Steiner call the 9th. Only thing worse than Kenley is Kenley and Steiner.

Man, Jansen is not a relief ace whatsoever. We might be screwed.

Ryu keeps doing what he does. Very few do it the way he does and it's a pleasure to watch.

Russell Martin had some of the worst swings you'll see last night. Looked like he was blindfolded at the plate. Behind the plate he was a wall. That's one tough mfer. Nice job keeping Almora from reaching the plate, too.

The saga of Kenley the closer continues. Give him credit (and a little luck) getting out of it, but wtf was he doing getting into it? No excuse for the walk, just like the HBP the night before. I was shocked he made the play to the plate. He's usually a horrible fielder.

I'm thinking the best CF is playing RF. Verdugo is an adventure in CF. Well done on the final play of the game, but the dive was a bit dramatic. He takes more than his share of shaky routes and is unsure on plays near the wall.

Apparently Bryant hadn't had an outfield assist in over three years.

3B coach knew what he was doing.

Good info. Wasn't aware of that.
Even with the off line throw, it was pretty close. With the way we are scoring runs of late, it was worth the gamble.
And given Russell's terrible AB earlier, he came through.
    His backstop skills are awesome.
Whatever offensive shortcomings Martin and Barnes have, they both are tough receivers with substantial skills.

martin is tough as nails and never gives up
    a great backstop and teammate
and have to love his perseverance after not looking good at the plate all night

kenley's control (or lack thereof) is a problem
and not just balls/strikes, that 2-0 pitch he threw to rizzo was flat, floated over the plate, and only 90mph

i like verdugo, but (in a perfect world) he should probably be in left

Actually the body surfing after the final catch was over the top, but his type of enthusiasm is acceptable more and more...under the " let the kids play " umbrella. It's here to stay, and is part of bb like spitting and grabbing the balls.
I usually don't go for hot dogs, but he is a Dodger, so...and Pedro Strop's fucking tilted, crooked cap is much more annoying t me. No, upsetting to me.
If I were sitting on the Iron Throne, he'd get the Drogon incineration punishment immediately, if.not sooner.

    ^ seriously amazing
taylor hasn't even reached 3rd base and bryant has the ball in short left
an average outfield arm throws him out by 15 feet

    here's a different angle of bryant's throw

I seriously don't understand how's it even possible to NOT throw him out in that scenario.
