    Great pickup. Had he committed soon, I think USC would've had him....2 more scholarships and he is at SC.

    They were, absolutely. In fact, at one point, they were in front by a large lead. It essentially came down to who took the spot first.

    He's a great player, but with a class of Langley, Tell, Ross and Iman, I'm plenty, plenty happy.

    I expected Newsome to flip to Texas the second he committed to UCLA, if you watched his commitment video, it was painful to watch. I honestly think UCLA never really had him. I think he wanted UCLA, however his family just wouldn't let him leave Texas
