Saints defense was awful all around, really didn't help him. Plus, he was good in 2013. And as mentioned he's better than Burris and that's pretty much all that matters.

 

Okafor and Russell are my top 2 choices at the moment.

Yeah, Davis is obviously trying to use the Carson/Oakland/San Antonio plans to leverage a better deal from Kroenke. In the end that's what it'll be.

 

Towns is really, really skilled for a 7 footer and of course he has more length than Okafor ( no homo). Also, Towns and Anthony Davis are like best friends and shit. I'm checking for the long play..Davis could have interest in the Lakers in the future if Towns is there, but that's a long ways away.

 

Do you guys really see Towns as a franchise changing player though? I really don't, I think he's a good player but not a superstar that a few others have a chance to be.

 

He doesn't get enough minutes because of Kentucky's depth. Only plays 20 minutes per game, He certainly can.

 

Towns still needs to fill out physically, but he reminds me of Bynum before he lost all the weight and before he packed on the muscle. There was like a season in between the fat Bynum that dunked on Shaq and the Bynum that began to break out ( just before they traded for Pau)..a " lean Bynum "..that's who Towns reminds of, but more advanced skill-wise. Who knows if he'll ever fill out like Bynum did ( before Bynum got hurt and put another 20 or so pounds). But I think we'll have to be picking 1st to get Towns..rumors coming out that Phil likes him.

 

Philly just gonna keep drafting all them centers. At some point it has to stop. Sure they are stockpiling assets, but at some point they need to build a team and they need guards and more guards.

 

the media's playing up this " Love picks Westbrook as MVP over LeBron " stuff. Lol

i wonder if the Lakers will even go after Love.

Looks like JDR is looking for " a Mack " this year @ #4..wants to have 2. At least that's what he said they're looking for early. I'm thinking Vic Beasley or maybe Fowler Jr., but probably Beasley.
