We aren't very good at Dodger Stadium this year. Or does that all go out the door in October? Discuss.
Definitely vs the Cards after what happened last year. 3-1 at home vs them this year, 1-2 at St. Louis.
The playoffs as a whole are a crapshoot and shit that happens in the regular season doesn't matter. I'd say it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to start at home.
i see what you're sayin and i'm afraid of Doyer Stadium too. however, i'd rather face the Pirates or Giants. not that i don't think we can't get it done against the Cards..they're not that good this year and i'm sure our guys would be out for revenge..i'd just rather face the Pirates or Giants if given the choice.
Not having homefield for at least the first round would also likely mean having to play the wildcard game. I would be hoping for it if for nothing else than avoiding that crapshoot if I were a Dodger fan.
Yes, no doubt. The atmosphere comfort and overall edge is GREATLY exaggerated and welcomed in the playoffs. The regular season record doesn't mean shit. We want to be home for sure.
Yup. In '08, we won our only game at home in game 3. In '09, we won game 2 at home. Last year, we won games 3 and 5 here. Long time since we won on the road.
I've got tickets to game 5 of the World Series again this year. Hopefully I can actually use them this time.
