    Barnes has a .677 OPS against lefties ths year, which is basically what we need him for. Pretty disappointing and makes the 2019 catching situation tricky cause the hope is Barnes turns it around or Smith is for sure MLB ready

    He's really bad, man.
    I don't know about him.
    I get he's young and there's an adjustment period he has to work through, but he doesn't hit for enough power XBH or HR wise to justify his abysmal BA. He's striking out less it seems but still looks clueless and fragile at the plate. Cannot be trusted.
    This was supposed to be our 4 hitter.
