Sounds great-love to get out there and see them (when they are done) one day.
I'm hoping civilians like Rickey and Vinny are bronzed, too.

If Vin Scully doesn't get a statue there is something seriously wrong.

He would probably be horrified to see it in his lifetime though.

I'd think Campy would likely be one of the 1rst statues as well.

I think Vin is too humble to accept a statue while he's alive.

We would most likely have to wait to give him one.

This is pretty cool but I also hope they keep it very limited. I woulda been okay with just a Jackie statue but a few is cool also. I know I'm complaining about a hypothetical situation I just don't wanna see like 10 statues out there

I bet he gets the 2nd one. Humble yes, but he won't have the option to say no...

Well deserved but we don't need all the boys of summer. I respect our Brooklyn history but there needs to be LA love too. Koufax is obvious.

Vin and Tommy would be cool but Vin will turn it down and there's not enough acreage for a Tommy statue.

What you can do is have Jackie as the marquee Brooklyn statue and Sandy as the Los Angeles statue. Then just put plaques of Brooklyn greats around Jackie and plaques LA greats around Sandy. 2 statues is enough but honor all the greats with plaques. Even those who weren't hall of famers. Such as Garvey, Fernando, Gil Hodges, etc.

    Just my opinion.

With all that said...a Fernando statue would probably have the best pose.

If they were to do a group statue, "the Infield" would be awesome.

After thinking about it I'm not too strict on how many. Of course it's nice to have an exclusive club of player Statues, but if they're all Hall of Famers or cultural figures...go for it. Staples Center has a bunch. Camden Yards has 6!

Dodger Stadium is 300 acres of land. They'll develop it and the statues will have plenty of breathing room.

@chrisdodgers brings up a good point lol. All these downtown retro parks with statues are getting old. It's awesome that Dodger Stadium is the only 60s era stadium to survive and have true character.

Angel Stadium still stands but it's tacky and after the Dodger renovations Angel Stadium is completely outdated in comparison.
