We're second in the NL in runs (100 vs. SD's 105), but we got that total in 2 fewer games and 102 fewer ABs. The #1 OPS by a large margin. And hell, even with all those bad starts from our starters, we're 4th in ERA. Let's steamroll this team with a sweeeeeep!

Kemp is driving in plenty of runs there in San Diego, Hanley is leading MLB in HR's, and Gordon leads the NL in batting average.

The Gordon trade was an epic success for us.

Kemp makes a lot of money, is stubborn, and injury prone. Did I love the return? No but oh well. The team is better off without him imo.

Hanley had no position to play.

I agree about the Gordon trade. But let's not act like they are stinking it up like Rollins and to an extent Grandal are.

Fenway and those small parks in the AL East (Camden, Fenway, Toronto, NYY) play to his strengths. Although the ball is flying out of Dodger Stadium unlike any other year. He does look bulkier though.

Good one all three for doing well elsewhere. Hanley simply isn't a NL player any more, Dee was worth the sacrifice for the return, and Kemp is a big fish in a small pond, just like 2011. Our team and our results reflect that we also have many positives from the situation.

Gordon got us Howie who will either sign an extension or get us a compensation pick in 2016.

We also got a super utility guy in Kike who's going to be a major leaguer for a long long time. Our second best reliever right now in Hatcher & a very interesting Catcher that may very be the backup next year.

Gordon's BABIP is like 500000 right now it's just not sustainable and I'd make that trade everyday of the week and twice on Sunday lol. Great advanced scouting too to find pieces to present to the FO

Oh, and Hanley has been worth just 0.3 WAR because of his awful defense.

Let's rank the current Dodgers relievers based on how well they have actually pitched this year:
    1. Yimi Garcia
    2. Adam Liberatore
    3. Joel Peralta (DL)
    4. Paco Rodriguez
    5. Juan Nicasio (3-5 are interchangable)
    6 Chris Hatcher
    7. JP Howell (Because JP Howell has the most deceiving ERA in baseball and has given up runs that count to other pitcher's ERA a couple times)

Did you say that forgetting that baseballs are slingshotting out of Dodger Stadium like never before? 10 HR's in any month will make him a player in any league.
