    That was crushed and I loved his reaction

    That's back to back good games from Grandal with the bat.

    This game belonged to the pitching staff, who got some help with great shifts and positioning for double plays but also, putting up a zero for 13 innings is awesome.

    was at work [still am] so i caught bits and pieces of the game

    • saw howie get thrown out at 3rd
    • tomas needs to learn how to field a throw before he gets hurt
    • he's really lucky howie didn't come in feet first

    • jp's blind sweep tag
    • not sure if it was amazing skill or just dumb luck [maybe a little of both]
    • but either way it ended up saving the game for

    • grandal's walk-off
    • like doyer said his reaction was awesome!

    edit: almost forgot, i saw that dbb tried to get uribe to sacrifice again:rolleyes::facepalm::whistle:

    That JP tag was awesome! Definitely a little of both - great awareness of where the plate was and knowing he had no time to turn around, dumb luck that his tag went right to the runner's foot. That was the first time ever I saw someone block the plate with his ass like that!

    Whoa...what a GRANDal game...a little bit of everything.
    Joc riding the elevator of bb life. I think it was the first time I saw him reach out and swing for a flat out bad pitch today...pressing too much.
    The game also featured great pitching all around, and possibly the worst AB in ML history by Uribe. Phew...
