I keep wondering how we are back into the position of holding our breath when a ball is hit to RF now, like when Manny and Hanley were in LF. Sometimes even when it is hit to LF actually, the same is true. Well, I do know...the regular RF doesn't come through at the plate, and this guy in RF does from time to time. But can't help wondering with the biggest payroll in bb, and slickest FO in bb, how the fuck are we here?
Easy. We can put our horrible OF playing RF whose supposed to be a natural CF in LF where his bad defense wont be so exposed. His true natural position is LF because while he has the athletic ability for CF he doesnt have the playing aptitude for eithee it or RF. Which leaves him as probably a decent LF. Then we ca drop the guy who is actually a truely great arm and glove back where he belongs in RF. While Puig misses the cut off man sometimes and is not the greatest hitter on the team he is still way better than the other OFs who play in his stead. Get Kike SVS and Howie outta here. None deserve another inning in the outfield.

puig is like turner an auto out that occasionally -- sometimes inadvertently -- runs into one a 1-for-4 with 3 k's is a good night for them if puig had red hair and a paler complexion and played 3b he would be turner racist

Non argument. We talking OF. Svs kike Kendrick etc... Turner has no bearing on this issue but to try and find ways to minimize puig when the facts are that he is clearly a better option in the field an in the box. Turner btw is still the #3 hitter in the lineup and is a worse hitter than Puig. But both play a position that nobody else can man nearly as well as them nor can they produce offensively as them. As bad as they are.
turner is a .221 hitting #3 hitter on a team that (we've been told) wants on competing for a championship every year puig is a player with immense natural ability who once played at an elite level, who has regressed significantly every year since i don't hate turner or puig but i hate the ineffective players they've become
