    Dodgers DFA Brandon League
By Steve Adams [July 2, 2015 at 9:37pm CDT]

The Dodgers have designated right-hander Brandon League for assignment, the team announced. League, who is earning $7.5MM in 2015, has not pitched this season due to inflammation in his throwing shoulder. He had been on the 60-day disabled list.

Couldn't include Baez, Callaspo, Rollins, Peralta and Hatcher?

Yimi is only 24 man, sure he can be frustrating but waaaaay to early to give up on him.

The post and thread are about a guy being DFA'd so that's a different question altogether. Who are you going to call up in his place?

Honestly. When Beachy is ready, you're going to see more multiple moves at once. Now that the 34 in 34 finally is over, they'll lighten up the already weak staff. So anything is possible with our fantasy baseball kind of FO. Cahill only adds to the mystery of bizarre call ups, DFA's and reassignments. The FO truly is unpredictable.

yes, but you made reference to his youth and to give him time
if he's so young and can't get it done here then he should be working on it somewhere else

You wrote to add Yimi to the DFA candidates. I wrote he was too young because I was under the impression you wanted to DFA the guy based upon your post which is correct so admit you were wrong it's okay man. :D

I'm sorta surprised, but I guess they figure he's not better than any of the other current 7 bullpen guys, since he had to be added to the roster this weekend. It kind of goes against their depth motto but from what I seen League's velo was down a lot, so maybe they just figure he's done.

I liked League, but moving on...

He was meh with 94-95 so I get it if his velo was down.
