    I just meant he waited to make the call until well after the ball went over the wall which is a radio rule (Steiner never follows it)

    this is where having a LOOGY would be ideal. Bring in a LOOGY (Diekman?!) to face Soto and then have Baez get the rest of the inning

    maybe I'm just noticing it more, but it feels like Baez is mixing velocities with his fastball more this year. Pumps it up to 97-98 at times, but will also hit 94-95. I feel like before it was basically always 96
