They're not. I just forgot to make my point clear before someone thinks I'm just in love with Gwynn jr. Actually, I do wanna see him up here I bet he gets a hit off the bench once in awhile plus, no one on the bench has good speed... We need you tony, come back to me, er, us.
You son of a gun....don't F with me!!!! Sands has a .900 OPS and that is after a terrible start. Since the ASG he has a 1.058 OPS, and that kicks ass. This guy will be a solid OF, no doubt.
You know Jr. be waiting on the call but someone up there in the show like Uribe. He ain't nobodies homeboy no how.
Jerry wasn't going to get a chance to play here. Victorino is a stop gap, and taking Crawford was the only way we could get Adrian. Puig is the future. And the only way Andre is moving to 1B is if we get Josh Hamilton, which probably isn't going to happen. Love, Ned
Most folks focus on and remember Kemp going into the wall jaw and knee first and going down. We should remember the day before when he went into the wall and tried to protect him self with his hand and came away in pain grasping his wrist. How sore is his wrist still? Hard to swing with a sore wrist and a tender shoulder. Perhaps he should have sat out of the lineup for multiple games and would we have called him another over paid superstar more worried about is stats and not doing what he could do to help the team. How many other players are banged up and playing through pain. One of the weaknesses of this roster is we still don't have role players to fill in. Punto, Kennedy, Uribe, Abreu, Rivera and now are shredded bull pen leaves us with a very not strong 25 man roster and not much help from our 40 man roster.
stupid is as stupid does if you don't learn from your mistakes you're destined to repeat them the conspiracy theorist in me thinks he did it on purpose to either... make a statement to his teammates or worse... to try and get out of the lineup
You got me believing to make a statement. I know Capuano who was pitching was impressed and commented about how hard he played and it made him want to work as hard as possible. Cap was on the mound when the second wall crash occured. Kemp doesn't accept there are limitations and while DBB was suspect he went along with Kemp saying he was ok. DBB had a couple of interviews on the topic. Kemp went through a similar stretch about this time last year because he refused to take games off. Perhaps the being off yesterday will help and I like others am not impressed by Sue Falcone. I mean damn the second night they left him in the game even when on tv he looked groggy and Victorino was who took him out of the game and waved for a replacement. They said he didn't have a concussion but who knows. We have no freaking bench and who is going to come close o replacing any of our starters for a week or two if they go down. We have no Hairston etc etc. So now we have the Giant series and all hands need to be on board, healthy or not. I have some thoughts/wonders about DBB as a manager. He has proven himself to many when working with a weak lineup but how will he do with a strong lineup and keeping them on top of their game. The dugout personalites are gone and replaced with better players who have personalities still to be developed in Dodger Blue. Hanley is low key and you can see why things in Miami ran into a wall. AGon is still learning how to successfully work within a strong lineup and low key manager who doesn't screw things up. Dre is use to being second fiddle and I think enjoys being that. Some of the guys Kemp bonded with the most in the dugout are gone although Abreu is back. We have stars but other than Beckett how many have had to do so down the homestretch prior to this year. AGon learned how to fold in Boston.
Kemp already has been rewarded with a contract and he is not in a contract dispute so why would he be doing anything to sabotage the team.
