Another lucky win against the Giants would have been nice.
i had been in the wait-and-see camp with kelly
but i’ve seen enough
dude should not be put in any high leverage situations until he figures shit out
and as good as he was in the ws against us, we have to remember... the red sox almost left him off the post rosters because of his struggles
Good point, seldom mentioned. I guess those indisputable facts and his amusing personality were just too irresistible for the FO to ignore.
A matter of interpretation I guess but I'd hardly call pitching with a 3 run lead in the 7th inning a high leverage situation. But that's just me.
Can't believe how fucked up and totally useless Kelly has proven to be so far.
no argument there in theory
but with kelly, pretty much any situation is high leverage
on another note, yes yimi wasn't great either
but here's an idea... maybe try bringing him (or anyone else) in before it's a bases loaded/1 out situation
Beautiful. Forever after, I'll never see his name any other way but that way...
What is with this Freese CT lineup? Really Roberts?
Despite yesterday's hiccup, I'm starting to coming around a little on Yimi. He's looked much better recently.
not all that different than how baez was when you think about it
the stuff/velocity is there, just needs better control/command
Sure, you're right. Holding up the criteria for other pitchers, definitely.
But with this flotsam Kelly, what he does almost immediately to a lead, is criminal.
When can this jerk be used ? What kind of situation ?
So now we're going to carry three catchers? How about an extra reliever instead?
Nice pitch Kenta! Atta boy!
Baez was decent at times before he settled down a year ago.
Yimi was pure dogshit until recently.
maeda es mierda
Muncy es caca (hoy)
Pathetic, Alex. Gotta get the ball to the right side.
of course we strand a leadoff double at 2b
maeda is seriously not good at pitching
