What horrible matchups. Ugh. Shoulda won tonight. Might regret it! What a horrible night this turned out to be with SF winning. We have to play them in 5 days. Plus the Cubs and Coors. Things can nosedive quickly, especially with the pitching matchups. I hope not though. Win games you're supposed to. Infuriating losses to Philadelphia.

We could just go ahead and sweep SF, but it's still scary. It's hard being a fan.

welp, 10-7 Giants so... looks like they'll win.

Anyways, this series against the Reds scares me a bit but hopefully the offense can continue hitting like it has. just keep winning series and things should be fine.

This better not be some bull crap turning point for the Giants and they get hot right when they're about to face us. The media will go nuts if they "rise to the occasion".

We really need to sweep the Reds since the Giants are going to win all 4 vs the Mets.

I'm afraid of the Reds. Every time I look at a game involving the Reds, they're either winning or very competitive. The pitching matchups don't favor us at all, either. This is a tough series. Win 3/4 and hope the Mets and Giants split.

Reds are on fire right now for some reason. Can't have a let down.

August baseball is a fucking tease. Just runs my emotions up too high for no reason.

Norris and Anderson to start.....dear lord.

With the Gnats playing the Mets, we better sweep the Reds.

But from the looks of things, the BP better get ready.

Looking at the stats, one might wonder why the Reds are where they are. All this easy schedule shit is so much a crock...with our pitching MASH unit, no one is "easy". Only a rampant offense can ensure that...starters are basically weak, half game pitchers, and the bp is starting to spring leaks.
As somewhat stated above by TB, SFCS O looked very inspired and flat out good last night, unfortunately, against a supposedly great Poodle Boy. If he's Thor, then the Norse gods have taken a serious hit.
Hopefully, Anderson and Norris can get it together, I hold no positive expectations for Kazmir. Not based on his last few games.
    Go the O.

I'm not sure what is considered so bad about the match ups this series - this is exactly the kind of series we should crush. Cincinnati has the second highest team ERA in the majors, and we aren't facing any elite starters. Our first matchup is against a 28 year old rookie. Our offense has been on a roll and I see no reason why that will stop in Cincinnati, I set the over/under for Dodger runs scored this series at 40.

Meanwhile SF has been playing like shit. They lost 5 out of 6 before yesterday's game. And all praise Bumgarner for hitting a HR, I guess, while overlooking the fact they gave up 7 runs in a game started by their "ace". I see nothing to suggest SF has fixed anything.

So besides the ever present reality that this is baseball and everything can change in an instance, this is shaping up to be a good weekend for Dodger fans. I'm not counting my chickens, I'm just confident as fuck.

    And fuck the gnats!

I remember when we thought the Marlins would be an easy series and they won all 4 in LA. Never again.

We were simply out managed that series. Not much you can do when facing baseball's greatest manager since Bobby Cox.

They scored 10 runs in a game started by the Mets ace, who is far from a slouch.

@Buster_ESPN: RT @McCulloughTimes: Clayton Kershaw said the Dodgers have a "good plan" in place that will allow him to pitch again this season. He'll throw a bullpen Saturday.
