    I’m just going to periodically check the standings. Really not worth my time getting pissed off at this team when there’s so many other life issues to deal with.

    They already look like they are mailing it in anyway.

    The cocky attitudes of the Reds, especially like Gennet, echoes the difference between a team with some life and heart, and deadbeats like most of the Dodgers.
    A sad shame, but starkly obvious, the truth about the thread that appears to run through most of the team this season, and the "go through the motions" face it has shown to it's fans, is more of a down payment on fan abandonment than the annual post season loser is.
    I don't pretend to know where Manny Machado's heart is ( I didn't see him on a game to game basis, ever ), but watching him play as a Dodger, I would say he could give a shit less about being one next year...in spite of the blah blazos.
    And from a mercenary viewpoint, who can blame him ?

    I was always of the opinion we should have gone after Harper rather than Machado. Less infield conflict and higher motor, even if he's a bit of an was.

    But not going after Stanton hard enough may have been the worse decision.
