Maeda had a horseshoe up his ass tonight (no homosan). Threw a bunch of hittable pitches.

Four runs isn't going to cut it. Way too many missed chances.

All in all, nice effort from the pitching staff tonight. Thought they could have squeezed another one of Kershaw, though.

Been terrible at keeping up but how has Kershaw looked? Normally, even before the injuries he looked human at Coors.

Most lefties with a pulse give this team fits. Freeland is a cut above that. Any Rox starter with an ERA under 3.00 is trouble.

Same consistent pitcher he's been ever since he came off the DL. Should have only allowed one tonight. His CF took an in game nap, turning a routine single into a double.

Strike was farcical tonight. Same numb nuts called the sketchy balk vs the Rox, too.

He didn't seem to trust his fastball. Seemed like slider after slider. Got the job done though.

Almost looked to me like he was scared to throw a strike. Didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Hopefully this Arenado slump extends a few more days.

It was erratic the whole night. He called three wide ones to Blackmon in his last AB. I think most complaining about officiating in any sport is for losers, but I'll make an exception for last night's home plate umpire. Have to say this........he was consistently shitty.

May have been the worst home plate umpiring I have ever seen. What a fucking clown.
Torre, or whoever is in charge of these dunces needs to sit down and show them a tape of the rampant incompetence that is evident more and more.
It doesn't improve, it steadily grows worse.
Last night, he was simply below par, even for an amateur.
Never seen anything as bad as that.

Indeed, as you wrote he center cut a few that were missed. He left a lot of crushable pitches in the zone...far too many for a two out turn.
    He inspires me not.
And doesn't look confident in himself at all.
    Got it done, though.

Looks so much different than he did in last year's postseason.
