Although that's true, the appearances haven't been encouraging. Maybe I'm being too negative on it but from what I've seen it's a lot of hard hit balls, few swings and misses, and getting behind a lot of hitters. I'll look into the numbers later but from my opinion, doesn't feel like good appearances including today where some luck had to get him by on hard hits. But anyways, my main hope is that he gets better or lucky cause he's gonna be used in high leverage situations regardless
That's only the 5th win by our bully this year. No other team in either league has fewer than 7. Nice to see them pick up Haren.
Terrible relief pitching by Brian Wilson, and equally terrible throw by AJ down to second base in the ninth. You are not going to get anyone in professional BB by every throw being slow and eye or head high to the IF covering and he has to bring his glove all the way down. He does it all the time now, without fail, and many of them are on the 3b side of the bag, too. Better off bouncing it like Posey. We were very, very lucky and nice play by SVS. Man, WTF happened to AJ's arm? he used to be pretty damn good at nailing guys...I don't get the huge falloff. Is he injured or just through?
Another road series win. Not a bad roadie. Still winning on the road. SVS was a hero tonight. Huge walk late in the game and the big dp to end it. Let's beat the punk ass cards now.
