I think NZs admonishments may have woken him up...that would be really good. He seemed like a weight lifted from his shoulders, imo. I don't foresee a platoon situation with Utley...I guess, but he needs to play 2b, not LF.
Nice to win and to score some runs...concerning though, that I firmly believe this is what we'll have to do, at least for some time, when Kazmir is out there.
    It is what it is.

Fun game. It's nice to not have to stress about the pitching when the offense just goes crazy

Great to see Howie do stuff

Looked like Adrian might be coming around, too.

Hopefully tonight was more than another tease from Joc and Puig.

Last I checked during the game, Joc was hitting .277/.397/.523. Pretty strange considering how he's looked but that's a hell of a start and an underrated one

The Ks make Joc a tough watch at times. They sometimes overshadow the good things he does.

Really liked he hit the HR off a lefty. He should be better than a platoon player.

I think it was Mark Ellis a couple of years back went with the "he hits it opposite field" gimmick. It's just as bad as a pull hitter, without the extra power. Howie pulled a couple tonight, gotta mix that shit up or you become as predictable as Ryan Howard with the shift. Don't restrict yourself, that's how he's hit .295 forever.

Still, if he was a RPG game character, his charisma stat would be a 4.

^^^ if that last part made sense to you, you're a nerd.

Charisma is a measure of leadership ability as well as looks nerd. That is why it adjusts the amount of followers and/or henchmen you can have. Comeliness was introduced later in the book Unearthed Arcana. It addressed only looks and made Charisma only your likeability/leadership quality. How about that for nerdshipness?

Do you work in the Dodger front office? THAT'S how nerdish you sound.

How about Mr. Thompson going the other way against the shift not to mention that moon shot!! I like SVS alot but it would be hard pressed for me to tell Trayce that he has to go down to AAA. Trayce has shown power and he has a defensive advantage in that he can play anywhere in the OF and covers alot of ground. SVS has the better arm of course.

I forgot his name but someone mentioned that it would make sense for the Dodgers to trade Dre and CC for Braun. Anyone else hear that scenario? Thoughts?

I was going to post earlier that SVS probably won't have a job.

Nice game from Howie. That Puig homer was a shot but that pitcher missed his location by maybe two feet. Joc4Leadoff?

Is charisma of 4 high or low? It sounds average if this is a 1-10 scale.

Interesting premise there, VRP...I wish that Puig, who yes, hit it far ( HRs not his forte, imo), but I'd rather him get a hit, or even a sac fly with RISP.
So far, the clutch seems elusive for him.

They should give it some thought, Joc's OPS remains obscene, .903
Would like to see Joc and Puig at the top, 1-2
