regardless of what happens the SP has been awesome and clearly they are going to shake things up in the BP
that's progress and i really think scott isn't on the playoff roster
davey even called him scared or trying to be too fine yesterday i guess
    that's a big deal

Hard to find enjoyment in this win. Great effort by Snell but the bullpen is going to be a problem in the playoffs. If the other guys were doing their jobs then Dreyer and Vesia and even Casparius wouldn't be so worn at this point.

I hope they clinch tomorrow and then go easy on the pen in the Seattle series to rest them up. Send Scott out for multiple innings every game, let him earn some of that 70-whatever million, even if his arm falls off.

Sure, those were plusses but Ohtani yesterday and Snell today should have got wins with the way they pitched. It's not that I care about their individual stats, but more that winning that way would have shown team dominance. The way they won tonight was anything but. Not the way to go into the playoffs.

Bazooka, too. He's gotten a lot important outs in both World Series runs.

A lot of this goes back to the starting pitching being injured or just shit early in the season.

Vesia's been their most reliable reliever. Not much else to choose from.

Game went from one they should have won to one they should have lost.

Slow start from Snell cost him a shot at going seven. Going to need seven inning starts in the playoffs given the disastrous state of the pen.

Pleasantly surprised (to say the least) with Alfred E. Sasaki. All his pitches working and hitting his spots. Dotting 100 on the corner to the final hitter was impressive. Going to temporarily walk back my opinion that they park Sasaki for the playoffs.

Poor Vesia looked as bad he ever has and someone needs to tell Enriquez to shove his breaking ball up his ass. Throws a smooth 100 and he pitching like Kyle Hendricks. That breaking ball should used only about 25 percent of the time. Not sure if that's Enriquez (saw him shaking off the catcher last night) or Rortvedt, but that needs to change.

Tidy inning for Kershaw. Dreyer got the key popup with the bases loaded and Treinen got the final out. Note on Treinen. The pitch that got that final out was a hanging piece of shit that should have been hammered. Had a horseshoe up his ass there.

2024 NLCS Tommy made an appearance last night. Never thought that run would hold up. Glad he showed up because there were some terrible ABs last night. Shohei swings at one in the RH batter's box, Freddie takes a fast down the middle and Pages whiffs on one that almost hit him. The two run bomb gets Pages a bit of a pass.

Once Kim hesitated (the right thing to do) Dino should have held him. But it still took a great throw to get him. I give more credit to Carroll than I blame Dino. Carroll is a baby faced monster. What a talent.

there was last night including letting Roki throw another inning
love Alex (slight red bull homo) but he wasn't needed right there and it was clear they were looking to establish new fresh arms
idk just thought maybe after the previous night they might ice one of their needed reliable bp arms

Can't disagree, but they were handling Roki with kid gloves. Just one inning and the bottom of the lineup. I was hoping he would go another one.
