Finally broke through against the vaunted Angels after seven straight losses.

Bullpen shutout after the Snell news (shocking). Mills and Barnes. Mills looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Score 6 despite getting little 2-15 from the 1-4 hitters. Five through seven (Pages, Max and Teo) carried the day (5-11 with three HRs).

Need innings from Wrobo again tonight. Facing the Angels' ace in Soriano.

Soriano was pitching up to his reputation until the 6th inning implosion. What was impressive were the takes by the Dodger hitters. Soriano wasn't spazzing out and throwing the ball all over the place. He was barely missing his spots. Dodger hitters showed a lot of discipline, especially Pages (of all people). After swinging at a pitch in the LH hitter's box and took a pitch just off the outside corner for ball four.

Good to see Mookie hitting it hard three times, including going deep.

Pages flashing that Gold Glove form with a couple of great catches.

Another grind it out six innings from Wrobo. Knew he was capable, but didn't see a 6-1 record and 2.49 ERA coming from him.

 

The Haloheads (ownership AND fans alike) put ALL their stock into the preseason & interleague face-offs with Dem Bums. That's their hard-on for the year.

It's a cursed organization that should've not let Nolan Ryan go to Houston, not allowed Donnie Moore to walk away from baseball without better counseling (something the Dodgers can teach other teams, given how they have handled the case of Andrew Toles) and they should have managed ONE WS trophy for gentleman Gene Autry.

2002 was an anomaly. They beat Frisco. SFW.

Anyway... the Angels are the soup sandwich of MLB. Screw 'em.
