Ingram's not proving that much. Check the numbers.
Ingram's on/off numbers with LeBron gave me hope earlier in the season, but he hasn't stepped up since LeBron's been out. Not on a consistent basis.
Also, I know that soon enough, Ingram's destination will more that likely be anywhere except LA. He certainly had better be on the table for Kawhi right now since rumors are saying Kawhi is going to the Clippers next year. Not that Toronto will move Kawhi, but if they do, Ingram had better be on the table.
As for Ingram being excellent in the future, maybe. That's all I can give you there. Right now, his ceiling is looking very Tayshaun Prince-ish. Which would mean he's a solid, above average player, but not an all-star caliber player

Anonymous exec/former GM just said the other day in that Pincus report that Ingram's value is below that of Zo's and Kuz's right now. That league-wide, execs are not impressed. It is what it is

The Los Angeles Lakers’ injury woes grew on Wednesday as Kyle Kuzma participated in a portion of practice before receiving treatment on his hip.

Oladipo done for the season and probably a good portion of next season, Lakers expected to check in on Tyreke Evans' availability
Evans is currently playing out a 1yr deal, Lakers had major interest in him this past offseason after LeBron's signing
Also, LeBron is said to be a big fan of Dennis Smith Jr.
    Trade deadline is Feb 7th

TWolves 1.5 games behind LAL, walk into Staples and looks like they're going to get the job done
And why do I feel like Rondo hurt his hand again reaching in trying to stop Gibson before that dunk

The value of the young guys is at an all time low. Should have traded them in the offseason before they got exposed as scrubs.

Kevin Love: Possible Kyrie reunites with LeBron, " he likes to keep people guessing "
Certainly feels like there's a method to Kyrie's madness. " Earth is flat " predictably helped sell plenty of Nikes Lol

As good as we think Zo can be, can't count on him to stay healthy. Definitely can't count on Ingram for anything. Feels like Ingram is the next Lamar Odom..talent who ends up being above average to good, but never reaches his all-star caliber potential. And if Kyrie agrees to leave the Celtics for the Lakers ( big win for Magic), as much as we like Kuz, I don't see Kuz stopping an AD trade. They probably would try to get the deal done without moving Kuz, but ultimately, if you have Svi and Moe then you're fortified at forward with shooters anyway. Hart probably lives on as well as a Laker, don't see him holding up a trade from the Pels' end. AD and Kyrie being BFFs makes this very interesting. I can certainly see Kyrie embracing the Kobe role because LeBron is definitely Shaq - shooting bricks at the free throw line

Of course, the one that isn't banged up right now physically is the one whose value is the lowest, who doesn't play as hard as the other two night in and night out

    Bill Oram is dropping jewels
LAL FO is currently kicking it into overdrive with the trade deadline just ahead

    • They want a 2nd superstar now. Not later. Everybody is available except LeBron
    • They want to make deals that'll help them make the playoffs this season - not just willing to wait until LeBron is ready to carry them again
    • They want a shooter on an expiring contract

Oh and one more thing, " LeBron's camp " reportedly wants Luke fired. Have to agree with them. Of course, Windhorst does his job and protects LeBron.." not LeBron, but all of the people surrounding LeBron want Luke out "

I'd be afraid to see who they replace Luke with....he's been far from great but the options out there are scary

Not me. Ty Lue is probably on line one, has coached Rondo before, knows his way around Lakerland

    BShaw.

Make no mistake about it, Luke will be the scapegoat. Has he done a great job? No, but either has the front office. Now im reading they're looking for a shooter. well duh. Every half brain knew this at the beginning of the season. Oh we were just gonna hope svi plans out at some point during his rookie season? Ok. :whyme:

    It may be Thibs.
He is the closest to a Riley right now.
No nonsense run drills till you puke kind of coach.
LeBrons camp might just get more than they bargained for.
Because why fire Luke to bring on another young players coach?

    Since 2011

    Phil Jackson
    Mike Brown
    Mike D'Antoni
    Byron Scott
    Luke Walton

Maybe the organization just sucks now? Change coaches all you want.

If Shaw takes the reins in the event that Luke is fired ( likely) it'll be because it's hard to replace an entire coaching staff during the season.

Summer time comes and it'll be names like Ty Lue and Mark Jackson dominating the rumor mill. New front office will want to make their own hire, not deal with Kupchak's/Jeanie's guys. So long as they don't hire Dave Roberts, they should be fine
