If Nance decides to become a Joakim Noah type of player on defense he might be a funky different kind of center. In the new NBA the offensive rebound is not worth the effort and lost defensive positioning. What is valued more is the ability for every player to get back on defense on a shot attempt. That means no more crashing the boards offensively in favor of running back on D.
Baxter Holmes @BaxterHolmes Lakers GM tells ESPN that this season is all about Kobe and development takes a back seat until Kobe is gone: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...movement-order-celebrate-outgoing-kobe-bryant
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. That's seriously one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. You can say goodbye to Kobe before and after the games AND develop your young talent during the games.
Yeah Mitch actually has very low cred when you look at what he says... .. he's keenly aware of how tenuous his employment is... .. "just put a good spin on it Mitch, nobody is listening anyways"
in the old Forum I remember him always standing at the mouth of the tunnel that led to the Forum Club he couldn't sit down. Seriously. Major anxiety watching the Lakers 'Product' that he couldn't control by being on the court himself.
yes thats why he left but that pressure would be gone now and its going to start all over again for him in GS now that they won...
No way the logo comes back while his son is rising within the Lakers ranks. I've always been pretty patient with Mitch and Co, but I think I've reached my limit with the Kobe comments earlier this week. Do have to give them credit for some of their draft picks recently. Both Clarkson and Nance would be lottery picks if you did a do-over of their respective drafts.
logo isn't the gm in GS, why would he need to be here? we just gain ALL sorts of credibility w him around and it completes the circle seems like a natural idk but the dysfunctional buss kids would probably fuck it up even if it was remotely possible
Maybe they'll believe it now that more than one person's said it... Ryan West is being groomed to take over for Kupchak whenever he walks away. These guys Kupchak and Logo are 60-70 yrs old, time is ticking.
