    Worst pitcher in the sport used again in a key series. Davey is okay losing as many games as possible if his buddy can get a couple saves. No better options…definitely not the guy in the 8th who was filthy and K’d 3 guys at the top of the order. Fuck you Dave

    Can we not experiment against a team that might be vying for a playoff bye against us? Let the lost closer re-find himself in a lower leverage situation.

    A few years ago, Mookie would be honestly scrutinized as being "on the wrong side of 30" ... yeah, he's produced 4+ WAR in every year in LA but his 1st ... but he's at 1.4 in August at 33, 34 in October.

    His game ia fading & as a SS, he's not even on par with Zach McKinstry or Brooks Lee.

    He may be in the downfall, with six more seasons in Dodger Blue.

    Diaz/Roberts backed up the Titanic and took another run at the iceberg. There's got to be another way in the short term. Save should have gone to Edman. What a play.

    A more economical first inning might have allowed Yama to get through the 7th. Settled down after that and laid down another solid performance. Tidy two innings for Phillips and Scott. Would be huge if Phillips would return to form.

    Would help the staff a bit if the lineup would break out with a few runs. Another barely adequate performance. Nice to see a rare three single rally for a run in the first.

    Great game for Andy and Edman. Three hits (including a HR) and a SB for Pages. Edman with a bomb, a single and the game saving play in the field. He was 2-20 coming into the game.

    Kike is lost at the plate. Someone tell him it's October.

    Just re-watched the HBO doc.on Bobby Thompson's homer in 1951.

    It makes me anxious about the last series of the year in Frisco - I sure hope that the bye isn't on the line in that series. I can see DEI Dave mailing that shit in because 'all that matters is getting to the post' ...
