^Fernandomania was incredible!!!!! I would argue much much better than Mannywood. As for Garvey, how about 1974! Written into the All-star game, then become the MVP of that same game. Win MVP of the league as well that same year. If it weren't for those amazing 3-peat A's, he would have added World Series Champion!
I tend to agree here, when you consider he missed most of his age 32, 33, and 34 seasons-which should have been some very productive years-and still managed to hit 630 career home runs, you have to wonder what might have been. Also in his age 25 season he only managed 72 games. He was one hell of an athlete.
