fwiw… Chris Taylor is hitting .294/.368/.588 in his last seven games. fully expecting roberts to now bench him in favor of biggio even against lh pitchers
Imo, Yarbrough's early season effectiveness is gone, baby, gone...the last few times I've seen him, uh, he's flat out sucked. Center cut. Poor command.
managerial brilliance taylor is 4-9 the past week with a 3b and hr but roberts replaces him with a struggling lux (3-16 the past week) solely because lefty/righty and lux rewards him by k’ing twice awesome
Dave Roberts is a complete fucking moron. You CAN NOT LET THAT GAME END WITHOUT WILL SMITH GETTING AN AT BAT. Just complete incompetency
It gives me a headache when I think about how many horrible players hit for the Dodgers on a nightly basis. Not even below average hitters....horrible hitters.
@BlakeHHarris Entering today, 189 players had at least 211 plate appearances. Gavin Lux's OPS+ ranks dead last Wouldn't care if we dealt him for a ham sandwich. Low IQ player with a low ceiling. We have enough of those as is....Lux is a bust.
Same here. It's ridiculous to even think about it. I've said it so many times this season. It's justifiable to have one weak bat on the roster if he provides defensive versatility. Just one. Dodgers had two, and instead of getting rid of one, they went out and got a third. It's just inane.
just heard that happened on the post game and wondered who did that has to be some kind of record doesn't it? nope apparently four has happened
