Didn't see the game, but why am I not surprised. Still acting like youngsters which is to be expected. Sounds like they still need to gel and develope a close-out mentality. It sounds like they took their feet off the gas pedal.
That really had nothing to do with it. They shot 39% from the floor (below 25% in the second half) and hit 50 percent of their free throws. Combined with the Cavs Jordan McRae shooting over 50% from the floor for 36 points. McRae was actually defended well, he was just having the game of his life. Really, they played hard and really cut down on the turnovers. If they hadn't had an agonizing night from the line they would of won.
Maybe I just don't get it (that's probably it)... Why is everyone so bummed out over the NBA equivalent of a Spring Training game?
Because Nance broke his hand and is out all summer Also, these summer league games represent some sense of hope after being tortured by this organization for the last 3 years

Even though he was playing against retreads, Zubac is showed some advanced basketball IQ on the floor all throughout summer league. I swear it seemed Zach Auguste mishandled almost every pass he recieved.
one thing i have taken away from the summer league is that brandon ingram is untouchable kid is going to be freaking good
