Balloon payment on his next deal with the team.
BTW its bad enough that Luke us undercutting the value of Randle by hardly playing him... what the fuck is he doing with Brook Lopez?
Lopez is a bonafide NBA all star caliber center. One that has evolved with the times. Why is he playing only 24 minutes a night?

    I know right.
If they are going to keep Brook as a part timer then bring in another C to start.
Riley is going to go into tank/rebuild mode.
He and Magic can get the Sixers involved since they want to shed Okafor.
The Heat can take Okafor and Randle as their new starting frontcourt. The Sixers would get Clarkson who they could use as the first guard off the bench. Lakers get to put out a twin tower set of Whiteside and Lopez playing each 25 to 30 MPG this season. Which would have them playing 4 to 8 minutes on the floor together. That would be interesting to see.

LeBron and Paul George come in next year and the kids fill out around them with some cheap veterans. Retain Brook Lopez at a team friendly deal.

    PG: Lonzo/LeBron
    SG: George/LeBron
    SF: Ingram/LeBron
    PF: Kuzma/LeBron
    C : Whiteside/Brook

    Starters all under 28.
Tight 7 man rotation with some veterans/prospects to fill reserve roles.
The centers split the minutes for 3 quarters and the one that is playing better or has the best matchup finishes the game.
The other 5 players can all play multiple positions and average 30 or more MPG.
LeBron for sure finishes each game that matters. Then whomever is having the worst game out of the other 4 sits to end the game.

Probably need to package Nance and Hart/Zubac another impact ballhandler to be the 8th man.

Man, Philly is looking good right now. That Simmons Embid combination looks like a killer.

Ingram should have been the one meeting with Kobe. Obviously, Kuzma's aggression is A1 at all times..Ingram needed a word from Kobe more than Kuzma did. But Ingram's having a good season thus far. I just want more aggression out of him anyway, especially in the 4th quarter. We've seen flashes, a game here and a game there, so it's in him. Pelinka said he would be the closer for this team, so I'm looking for some consistency in that role, even at just 20 years old..which is probably unfair, but it is what it is.

There has to be more times when Ingram demands the ball from Zo and tells him to get out of the way, at least until Zo accepts that he himself is going to have to be more aggressive/decisive offensively. Ben Simmons can't shoot worth a damn from the outside, but he still imposes his will on the game at the PG spot. And that's maybe not a fair comparison for Zo since Simmons is a 6'10" freak of nature physically, but it's not like Zo is tiny out there. And then Zo just walks back to the huddle during the little mini-scuffle between KCP and misc. Suns players, so he's just displaying soft tendencies in a variety of aspects. But yeah, so personally, I'm much less concerned with Zo's shooting and more worried about him just looking soft. Thank goodness that Josh Jackson is struggling as well, but Jayson Tatum is making me imagine a 4/3/2 combo of Kuzma/Ingram/Tatum and the extreme length [no homo] that the trio could've brought to LAL. Although, at the very least, LeBron/George signing will set that straight and make up for Zo and whatever he's going through. Zo could very well find himself coming off the bench next year.

Stifled that little mini charge there
Keep it at 13-15 pt lead going into the 4th and the W should be secure
Zo, 9pts/12reb/9ast going into the 4th, 2nd career triple double on deck

Brooklyn Nets' D'Angelo Russell has successful surgery on left knee

NEW YORK (AP) -- Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Friday.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Riley Williams III at the Hospital for Special Surgery. No timetable for his return was announced.

Probably the 1st of a few with those knock-knees and super skinny legs.

LeVar had to turn it up a notch. Has to distract from the LiAngelo and Trump fiasco.

Prior to Tuesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls at Staples Center, Walton told reporters he didn't put any stock in LaVar's comments regarding the team's inability to coach Lonzo Ball.

"Absolutely nothing...it's not what we're here to do or talk about," Walton said of what he thought about the comments, per NBC Los Angeles' Shahan Ahmed.
