I’ve come to accept that Ingram is just not a good player. He shows flashes of some nice plays but his defense is a huge liability, he doesn’t pass much, isn’t creative, and his shooting isn’t good enough to make up for all of that. He’d be the number 1 guy I’d look to trade before all his value tanks further.
Pelicans - 6th loss in a row I say fuck it, set the record and lose 30-40 in a row, whatever makes AD mad enough to demand a trade Why does a losing streak have to end?
The two guys out for fighting can be traded to the Pelicans for Davis. When they were out the offense and defense was better. PG: Lonzo, Hart SG: Lance, KCP SF: LeBron, Svi PF: Kuzma, Wagner C: Davis, Javale No money for other big FA this way. The only way is to bring in through trade of KCP and Javale.
Definitely rather have a Randle at center, but are you watching these games? Javale is playing very well and just needs assistance for now. Still plenty of room in the league for guys that just set good screens and roll to the basket, that never post up, that are just basically blue collar bigs. Especially off the bench. What Baynes does for the Celtics in 10-15 min, hopefully Chandler can just do that for a little while until Moe Wagner gets his feet under him. But I mean if you're waiting for a big impact trade before you get excited about acquisitions, see in you February there. Nothing major is happening until KCP is eligible to be dealt. But in the meantime, Lakers need every little helping hand they can get in certain areas to get these wins.
I really only have one question right now as far as basketball goes..at least until tonight's game How in the hell are college players supposed to stop Zion Williamson? Holy..
Nope... the right type of center is Randles teammate. Randle is playing 24 minutes a night right now, that is less than he did last year. Randle is also not the right type of center because he did not want to be here. He took offense. Snowflakes need not apply. Randle is obviously not the right type of center because he is not available to us. Being available is part of being the right type. We had Randle and we know his skill set. The Lakers did not want that going forward at C. A frontline of Ingram, LeBron, and Randle is too similar in height and skill set defensively and not a lot of knockdown shooting offensively. Right now the needs of this team are clear. An upgrade to Zubac and an upgrade to KCP. A backup C that can play 12-16 MPG who can play good interior defense while being agile enough to not get lost completely when the team goes into switching mode or when running on offense is the perfect type of center we need right now. Hopefully not in the playoffs or next season when we will have Davis in at center and Javale as the backup. Javale is playing like he wants to be a starter full time going forward though.
Pitchforks out for Ingram, not in full force, but they're gathering. Lol Welcome to Julius' world. We already knew Ingram would face the biggest challenge after adding LeBron. It's been said before by enough, but it could be in both the team's and Ingram's best interest for him to end up in New Orleans with Julius so he can have the ball. And perhaps the fact that they already have Julius there will give LAL a leg up in those trade talks, some built in chemistry on arrival?
Yup the Pelicans make the most sense for a gold package of Ingram, KCP, and Rondo for Anthony Davis and their backup PG.
Lol Lakers twitter is so out of line..wants Magic to trade for John Wall. This guy Wall is a legit alcoholic. That's why he can't keep the weight off in the offseason. Beal>>>>>>Wall
I don't see any trade for anything substantial this year unless it's AD. All trades outside of AD will ha e to wait until we sign our next FA
Pelicans' losing streak continues tonight VS Bulls. Hopefully. Go Zach Lavine go. He's looking very much improved this season. Imagine the Twolves if they had..Zach Lavine
