BI shuts down (except for the last possession) Trae Young the last 3 minutes of the game. That stuff doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but that's why I like BI better than any of the other young guys
You can tell his foot was bothering him from the jump in this game, but that was big of him for that stretch Young did get loose at the end there, but PHX's GM is the GOAT
LeBron is Shaquille O'Neal at the free throw line in the clutch. That's almost unfair to Shaq since he made his share of clutch free throws
And Kuz also hit what could be viewed as the game deciding free throw after Bazemore's dumbass technical foul late. In other news, Lamelo Ball looks every bit of 6'8". Wow. Kid was like 5'10" just a couple years ago
Warriors have had their share of luck in their run to all these titles..CP3 gets hurt last year during their series, Kawhi gets hurt the year before during that series, OKC chokes away their 3-1 lead over the Warriors the year Durant bolted away from Westbrook. And now the 2nd, 3rd, and potentially 4th and 5th best teams in the league right now are all in the east. That's assuming the Warriors will remain @ #1. The west is looking solid overall, but wide open as far as who would face the Warriors in the conference finals
Wtf? How is it that LAL is once again playing the Blazers!?!? For a 3rd time, this early. The league is full of shit for this one. They may as well have just let LAL and Portland kick off the year with a 7 game series. Anyway, Durant/Lakers rumors are currently picking up steam. Durant and Draymond got into a war of words after Draymond tried to play hero the other night and cost the Warriors the game. Lol Draymond reportedly called Durant a bitch multiple times and also called Durant out over his future plans in free agency during the back and forth. Smh A bitch move from Draymond there..you make a horrible decision in the game trying to play hero, blow the game, and you start calling guys out for misc. stuff because they're mad at you in the moment for blowing the game? Out of line. Especially when you consider that Draymond was the #1 recruiter going after Durant in FA after he fucked off the Finals by getting suspended VS the Cavs. All good though..Magic rubbing his hands together like Birdman thinking about superstar FA poaching szn..LeBron, Durant, and AD.." all tree of y'all "
Lol Draymond suspended by the Warriors for conduct detrimental to the team, docked $120,000. Wonder if it was worth it?
I scored some sweet floor tickets to watch the Lakers in Sac last Saturday, gave me a good opportunity to see them up close. I know it's only one game, but I left feeling the same I do when watching them on TV. What a completely uninspiring brand of crap basketball. Neither team deserved to win, the Lakers just sucked less in this particular game. There was nothing exciting about the way they play. The addition of Lebron hasn't improved that. This team just has low energy. I can't find anything to relate to them with. When Kobe was on the team, love him or hate him, you had his undeniable work ethic and killer instinct to get behind. I just don't get that from Lebron. Believe it or not, the most inspiring player on the court for this game was De'Aaron Fox. It's a shame to think about all the high draft picks they had, Russell and Randle, Ingram and Ball, and what do they have to show for it? I guess the Magic and Kobe eras spoiled me. I realize it's unrealistic to always expect to have those once-in-a-lifetime types leading the team, but the way this team is currently structured, I'm inclined to save my fandom for baseball season and sit this one out. Who knows, maybe they'll figure out and suddenly click on. I just won't be holding my breath until they do.
So I initially thought KCP couldn't be moved until January, but December 15th is actually the day he's eligible to be moved and reportedly Philly has interest. The rumor only makes sense, IMO, if Philly wants to do Redick for KCP. Magic/LeBron wanted Redick before bringing KCP back and Redick said he gave LAL real consideration so maybe it's a match? Redick is on a one year deal as well and contracts line up perfectly on the financial side..also, Paul represents Simmons so they'd get him a guard in KCP that can defend point guards and help him out there. Redick comes off LAL's bench. Also Lol, an anonymous Warrior said Durant is outta there after this year. What if the Warriors actually shop Durant this season? Bet the Wizards would be interested in at least renting Durant and it's home so pressure for Durant to stay, Beal goes to GSW another shooter. Crazy
So the actual Magic Johnson inspired purple pinstripe city edition unis will be worn for the 1st time tonight. Whatever. More importantly, winners of 5 of the last 6 games. Get this W, remain undefeated in the Tyson Chandler era
Trade Ingram, Wagner, Svi, Bonga, Zubac plus whatever salary filler and draft picks the Pelicants want for Anthony Davis. Then go Big. As in the real Big 3. Durant, LeBron, and Anthony Davis being the actual best 3 players in the NBA right now. No team has that caliber of Big 3. Lance, Lonzo Durant, Hart LeBron, Beasley Davis, Kuzma Chandler, Javale
those unis are monets would like to see 23 get his at the rim 50% of the offensive possessions so fucking big and strong inside out this bitch
Fuck. They keep hitting LeBron in the fucking head No matter. Pinstripes on and all business tonight, rubber match in hand..suck it, Portland 4 straight wins, 6 of 7, 4-0 Tyson Chandler era
Smh As soon as they get going..Rondo out 4 weeks Bittersweet win for sure. I guess at least they have a good amount of ball handlers. KCP is heating up as well and can handle some PG responsibilities over the next month
And he better step his movie game up as well. Wilt was great in Conan. Lol Wilt's legend will go on unmatched, he just has to slide down a notch in NBA scoring. Not so much in scoring
