Just saying this isn’t a good look. With all the touted young ones, there is a lack of energy and intelligence. That is just not a good look.

Remember, AD is a trade play. The FO of the other team has to believe that a trade for youngsters will work. Otherwise, they are going to turn to the Celtics. And then another PG13 situation will develop.

See how good that turned out for us.

this team looks like shit which isnt surprising. they looked like shit against the rockets and were helped out in the 4th by the officials and the lakers acting like it was their last game ever in that quarter.

but what do you expect, they're not a team really. the whole team may not be here next year, everybody was on the trade block, puke and his staff know they're gone etc etc.

lebron can activate his playoff mode all he wants but the very best this team will do is a 1 and done in the playoffs. and the playoffs only come if the young kings just get overwhelmed and fold down the stretch and the clips basically just start tanking.

this season is turning out to be the most disappointing of recent memory because we actually do have the talent to be a lot better. but coaching, roster construction and GM mismanagement has turned this team into a shit show.

Safer to go after Randle as the inside scorer and D'angelo as the perimeter go to guy with LeBron as the star and Ingram Kuzma and Lonzo as the role players.

Except they were reported to have the most interest in Zo, who's absent.

They're either going to do a deal with the Lakers or they aren't. One game isn't going to change their minds one way or the other. They still have to answer to all their small market buddies in the league if they decide to do a deal with the Lakers, and Danny Ferry is another guy who came up under Popovich. Plus, teams are no longer in the business of giving disgruntled players what they want..why AD publicly said he's open to going anywhere.

keep dreaming. you know damn well pelinka and magic wont go back and publicly admit their mistake. russell I have no problem with being traded at the time, but letting Randle go was a huge mistake. just the energy, youth and passion he brought would have elevated this team considerably. but that ship has sailed.

you already know the plan and it will happen. try to lure a max guy here in some way and fill the team with old vets.

I'm a big Julius fan and even I can admit he didn't exhibit much of that shit at all until his contract year. Came into his contract year shredded after getting serious and smelling the money

Oh and because Julius did what he did, waiting until his contract year to get serious..he only got $9M with an option for a second year on the open market.

It's not about any of that. A lot of teams could've signed Julius to whatever kind of deal they wanted this past summer and they didn't. And he got minimal interest overall. You see the numbers I posted earlier. $9M is what he's making this year..that's it. Hell, Jabari Parker went out and got $20M. Julius brought it on himself..you can't just show up in your contract year shredded without execs around the league looking at you sideways and wondering why now

even more of a fuck up then going with your pov. management obviously thought he wasn't going to be good enough, so we signed kcp instead. everyone saw his talent last year and his growth potential. aside from actually contributing right now.

if we wanted him, lebron and magic could've talked him into staying for what hes getting paid now. instead they threw him away like he was garbage and didn't even try to retain him.

Julius half assed his Laker career. That's just a fact. If you wanna feel sorry for him or be mad that he's no longer on the team, go ahead.

And D'angelo wasn't any different, still can't defend anybody, is still slow as hell and a bad fit for a team that wants to push the pace and switch defensively, and was immature beyond measure.

That's not development. That's just waiting until your contract year to get serious about conditioning.

Did Zo wait until his contract year to get his ass in the weight room? No. Know the difference.

But if KD and Kawhi and all those guys don't come next year will the team hold on to their cap space for 2020 and AD or try to fill it by bringing back Randle and D'Lo and even going after another hard nosed role player like Bojan Bogdanovic from Indiana.
Zubac will be a FA next year too :D

    PG: Lonzo, LeBron
    SG: D'angelo, LeBron
    SF: Ingram, LeBron
    PF: Kuzma, LeBron
    C : Randle, LeBron

If LeBron took the 6th man role on that team it could make some noise.
