BREAKING: The Lakers are looking to trade Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga, and Jemerrio Jones to create $32M of cap space, enough to sign a max free agent, via ESPN.

Should've known Moe Wagner was about to be traded. Out of the blue we find that he liked a racist post..definitely feels like trade leverage fuckery. Smh
But obviously, this is good. You're not pressing to open the max slot if you're not confident that someone's coming.
    " Not Kawhi's MO to be a 3rd wheel. " - analyst Woj
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kawhi was the 3rd wheel in San Antonio for like 75% of his stay there.
    Analyst Woj is trash.

I'm thinking we get Kawhi or Kemba.
Sounds like Jimmy is going to get a solid offer from Philly, and he also seemed to enjoy playing with Embiid. Could see Simmons getting dealt.
If Kawhi moves west, the east will be there for the taking for Philly/Jimmy. Should've beat Toronto w/Kawhi, probably the way they feel.

Also sounds like the Knicks could take Garland. They may not want to miss Steph Curry again, and there are some similarities..Garland less decorated coming out, but still there are some similarities in their game

Here is my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

    We will sign Butler.
    Kyrie will go to Brooklyn
    Durant will go to Brooklyn
    Kawhi to the clippers
    Kemba resigns in Charlotte
    Knicks sign Randle and DLo

    :D

Expeditiously. D'angelo is a month or so removed from being popped at the airport by authorities, trying to sneak weed on a flight in a soft drink/stash box. Ain't nobody got time to raise jackass kids while trying to create the next Laker dynasty.

No use for Julius either as an expensive role player. Go get me vet Jeff Green, who gave the Celtics the blues in the playoffs/2018.

Not that big on Kemba, but he is among the best deep 3 shooters in the league. The greater the range, the better the spacing. Also a good free throw shooter.
Don't like that he can be exposed defensively though..not at that price.
Rather they just sign Darren Collison if they're going for a small guard that can shoot the 3.

Here's the thing though. With a team of Lebron and AD, add Kawhi, and any medium talented shooter will look like Steph....or at least a VanFleet. Think about it. Those three make any player transform from cinder blocks to off the bench hero's.

Celtics unraveling. Horford opting out and not optimistic on a new deal there. Lol
Wouldn't mind Horford for the right price, if they strike out on Kawhi

I dont think we need a heavy minutes PF type like Randle either.
S/T with brooklyn using wagner and bonga to offset the bit of salary.
I also think they both should go to NY and become all time greats there.
Lakers are PF heavy as it is.
AD wants to play PF, Kuz is not a good enough defensive player for SF's and LeBron has a PF body and should play there more as he ages.
Those guys will get minutes at C as well. So the team only needs role player C types in terms of front court players.
Boban is great for this kind of team as the MLE. He can start then take a seat 5 minutes in and then come in as needed to spell AD or Kuz.
Getting Dangelo comes with a price break if it can be done via S/T. Dangelo is also not getting the max anyway so his salary cap hit will allow room for another veteran.
It would be nice if the Lakers could get Dangelo and Joe Harris from the Nets and absorb them into their cap space.
That would allow the Nets to sign 3 max players.

    PG: Dangelo, Caruso
    SG: Harris, Caruso
    SF: LeBron, Dudley
    PF: AD, Kuz
    C : Boban, Kuz

I’d like to apologize and say I genuinely have no idea how that tweet was liked from my account. I would never purposely like something so terrible, and I’m sorry to anyone I hurt.

I believe him. He's never come across that way

Watch we somehow probably end up with Chris Paul and then need to bring in Melo to fill out the team.

So love that asset hoarding Danny Ainge is watching assets Horford and Kyrie walk right out of the door with no return. It's beautiful. Damn beautiful.

Kyrie ruined the Celtics' offseason. Lol For sure. But also, who traded for Kyrie? Who passed on Kawhi because they didn't want to trade Jaylen Brown? Who passed on Paul George and other stars that have become available, hoarding assets for years to try and win now and later? Who did that? Heh

Gonna sit back and see how long it takes for Boston fans to figure it out since Boston is supposed to be this smart city..MASS this brilliant state. Let's see how long it takes for them to turn on Danny Ainge, the man in control. That he's losing Kyrie to Brooklyn, after the great Garnett/Pierce trade heist may be the best part of the debacle in Boston.
