If they extend it to 12 pitchers, I think I would just add Wood and keep everyone else the same. Not sure if they are actually thinking of adding Anderson, or if he's just the emergency guy (like Wood in the NLDS).
Isn't the emergency guy someone who corrects a faulty situation and corrects it, not the guy who causes the problem in the first place? I don't know if Anderson fits that bill exactly...y' know what I mean?
Fuck Brett Anderson - done with that asshat Kikè for Culberson would be ok Hope they don't give on Dayton yet - but if so, the only option is Wood Keep Barnes
agree with most of this anderson is garbage not sure about kiké for charlie almost be a wash kiké could run into a fastball but could also k a lot personally i'd prefer culberson i like dayton too, but that was a bad time for a bad outing
Only thing Kikè is good at is hitting the fastball and I imagine Lester will try and pound him in with cutters, he might have a chance with that
quite possibly what the dodgers are thinking since kiké reportedly flew to chicago today he just seems one dimensional and once madbum realized he was jumping on the fastball he never threw him another and kiké never adapted but who knows? we've had zero success against lester might be time to try something different
Heard the wind might be blowing out big time, if so, we can home run derby with the best of them let's do it
We can, but watching all our leftys swing for the porch in New York showed me that we're a better team when we put in quality AB's, not swing for the fences.
It is what it is...both seem reasonable for this round. I think they can make an impact more than the other two can, especially CC, who can't lay a bunt down, evidently.
I'm trying to think of any positives about Kike other than he ran into a couple of Bumfuck fastballs in April. Ability to play CF makes him a little more versatile, but Culbertson appears to be the better infielder.
True...but I don't foresee either Kike or Culberson ( if) starting or playing that much. In a way, the kid deserves to play at sometime during the post...we'll see how good a move it was...I don't think much of him this season either.
I think cause we lose an infielder to add the pitcher, you want the more versatile player. I know versatility might not matter if you can't hit the baseball but yeah Anyways, bringing in Alex wood helps quite a bit. Maybe Enrique runs into one today against Lester
