Anyone else going to be at the stadium today?

 

Not me. Going to be downtown and get in on the free Nikes and TVs.

 

Dodgers ran through a gauntlet to win it all. Many thought the Pads were the best team in the game. Mets were the hottest team in the game. Yankees were the best in AL.

Fuck 'em all (and fuck the Giants while we're at it).

A lot of plays will stick with me. Obviously the game winning slam, but second to me was the 3-2 curveball to Wells in the 9th inning. That was a Koufax/Kershaw-esque hammer by Buehler.

Bases loaded, Lux at the plate. Told my wife I hoped he would strike out as opposed to hitting a weak ass double play ground ball to second. Give him credit for nutting up and hitting the sac fly. Same with Mookie. Only thing Shohei hit in Game 5 was the catcher's glove. Good move.

 

Apropos of something ...

Obviously I'm 2500 miles away. Fsu has farming to handle 200+ miles from the stadium, & BZoo is an east coaster, plus his OnlyFans commitments keep him busy until 6PM weekdays. Just saying ...

But when I think of the "yobless" who'll clutter up this parade & party today in LA, I recall Lee Elia's rant on Cubs fans many years ago. He was right. 90% of the people are at work - the other 10% are at the ballpark, acting like assholes.

As for today's events - I wonder - what percentage is higher: real Dodger fans able to attend postseason games this past month? Or real Dodger fans present at today's parade?

Anyway... Lee is still kicking & I hope the Cubs honored him at some point after they won it in 2016 ... he is the skipper I'd want to follow....

Kicking at the kids apt. Been here since 5 and got some cool city pics w no one here.
Crowd is growing pretty big now at 930. Nearly 100% Latino and average weight 258 for men and women, kids and homeless...super smelly fuckers.
I'm gonna relax on the couch above it all. Probably go down closer to 11 but not sure tbh. Street smells like weed,shit and BO.
Guessing folks must not have running water at home these days

It's kind of disconcerting... I admire all these people being out there showing their Dodger support and love.
But when you think of who a huge percentage of them will vote for, they must be deplorables.
