I'll take 2-3 at Coors any day of the week.

Hope Cap burns in hell though.

All of that was HIS decision.

My semi-bold prediction: Nolasco will make Capuanos next start, Capuano will be our long man.

After this performance by one of our pitchers, I hope we don't panic and give away the farm for another starter. Unfortunately something has to be done. I am just glad we won the series, if we can do that more consistently the division is ours.

Wins are not worthless....they are the game in the end. Everything. But how does he get a win for that pile of shit he threw on Wednesday?
It's like he and Capuano are vying for who can throw the shittiest game in the shortest amount of innings. It seems Zach is very lucky and Cap is unlucky , but they both are throwing garbage out there, 5 inning , 5 ER pitchers...just what we need, with our BP probs. But Greinke gets a W, and Cap gets an L. I guess Greinke maybe deserves it because he's a superb athlete all around and contributes offensively too.
But suck they both do. Zach's got balls, but 147 M for throwing beanballs and getting your clavicle cracked in half? How about a fucking shutout?
The combo of Capuano and League is about as bad as you can get in the ML. They dig a hole so deep, we can never climb out. A bit mystifying why DBB went with it the way he did...don't quite get putting in the totally ineffectual League to relieve the totally ineffectual Cap, but hey, it's Donnieland.
Don't get why Uribe sat tonight either.
If you catch a good wave, you gotta ride it all the way in... right surfer dudes?

Hey I'm not complaining if we get gets away with it it's a win-win for us. I want him to earn his contract but at the same time I'll take the lucky win. One other note, glad to see Matt hitting the ball more squarely.

maybe...just maybe. I thought that tonight while watching Cap get rocked as usual. I consider him such a weak link now, I'd like to see anyone out there rather than him. Even with the O now, he just crushes the team's efforts and let's the game get out of hand.
How about League? Any ideas on where this dude fits any more?
Maybe they can fix him and Marmot down there.

    Of course.
But with performances like that one, and the one before it, how many lucky wins is he going to get...really?
Maybe he can just pitch in DS....
Glad for Matt, too. Hope he keeps it up.

They are useless in terms of a pitcher decision. League can blow a save and get the win.

Cap is now 5-14 with a 4.92 ERA since post ASB last season. Get some help ASAP.

Well you know there is a 1 - 0 loss in his future unfortunately. Damn we get Matt Cain tomorrow, he'll probably revert back to the Dodger killer he has been lately and then Bumgarner? Mini losing streak coming, I hope not!

I think I have just about decided that this division will be given to the team that just will not fucking quit. That HAS to be us. With CC coming back, we have a legit leadoff guy at the top of the order. However, I have no idea who sits.

I can't but chuckle a little bit at all the Nolasco love right now because I would bet money people are going to bitch about him in a very similar fashion that Capuano gets.

I wouldn't mind Nolasco either depending on the spec and the IFA money we get but I'm not getting overly excited about him either.

He's an upgrade over Cap but it isn't huge.

    What he said.

Everyone that is crying FOR Nolasco right now will be crying ABOUT him later.

I'd just like a pitcher that's not foreign to keeping us in a ballgame.

I am not going ape shit over him either but he is coming home which often helps him pitch better. The Marlins are highly motivated and won't ask for the moon unlike Theo will for Matt Garza and he is an upgrade over Cap.
