Hopefully. Just hard to know... well the MRI is tomorrow, but not like that means much. Just hope it heals. Or if it takes a 15 day DL stint, so be it, just that though.

Arizona is now closer to the 2nd wild card spot than they are 1st place in the west.

Arizonas distance to first place in the West is the same as our distance in having the best record in the NL.

The distance between Arizona and 3rd place is lower than them and 1st place.

    We rock

If we were able to pull off a miracle and sweep the Cards, we'd be tied with them.

    Hanley and Puig. :(

If Hanley misses a significant amount of time then Agon is going to have to step up big.

I just think about how if that play didn't happen, our Dodger lives would be perfect.

Don't feel like reading anything that have been making everyone sad.

From what I've read about jammed shoulders, it's mostly just pain, not anything that's torn or broken. So at worst, it's a 15 day DL stint.

But then again, I'm not a doctor.

but apparently, neither is Sue Falsone.

I am. Confidence means you believe in your team and what they can achieve, not just thinking that they are going to win 162 games, although the possibility of that exists, but is infinitesimally small. It means that you don't think that your team sucks after a two-game losing streak, that the GM is immediately a moron, the training staff are shit, the hitting coach should be fired, the manager is an asshole, etc....

You believe, not blindly, but you trust. You trust that the true NL MVP from 2 years ago will turn it around and don't think that he is shit, his contract blows or that we should trade him....that to me is chicken shit attitude. Guy's like Kemp have heart and do more for this team than is realized. I won't defend him at all for how he got injured last time, because that showed no heart....he didn't hustle at all.

Do I call people out when they suck? Yes I do. Do I make mistakes and think some players are better than they turn out to be? Yes. But I live up to it on both sides. No one says "hey, it's all good that you thought Dee was going to be good, but admitted you are wrong." Nope. Rather I get shit for it when I think so and people rub my face in it when I'm wrong, even slightly wrong. But in cases where I'm right, dead silence.

I am loyal to my team, sometimes maybe to a fault. But I really give a shit about these guys (not necessarily that they do about me at all), I believe in them and get completely turned off when people complain endlessly, bitch and moan and think that we should win every year, that every pitcher should have a 0 ERA and every batter should hit 1.000....I genuinely think that is lame.

I am also not afraid to be on an island and think for myself and be myself. I am who I am and like it. I don't need to be in the herd with sheep and think the way everyone else does.

Why can't you be confident and think your GM is a moron? I'm confident in this team, AND I think we would be better off with a better GM, so idk? That's your opinion on confidence, and just because someone thinks differently doesn't mean they are wrong.

Chicken shit attitude? You see, why do you need to call people out like that over a disagreement? I said this earlier, but Matt Kemp is turning into a Derek jeter like figure for no reason.

You hate what Greinke is and I think he has done so much in terms of intangibles and being a teammate, and I don't think you hating him is a chicken shit attitude. I don't even get that. Sure, Kemp might turn it around, we all hope he does, but we're chicken shit, pathetic faggot morons if we don't think so? Why? Come on, that's unnecessary. Completely unnecessary. BDK dislikes Ethier on this team and his contract, but I like Ethier, still think he can produce, and enjoy his fiery passion. But is it right for me to insult BDK at every damn post and completely just call him names for this? No way. If I disagree, I can easily tell him, make a few jabs, post my reasons, and there. Simple. Now, you can go about it whichever way you want, thats you, but you have to understand why people get turned off when you just attack over disagreements.

When you are right, you let us know, and I truly don't think people rudely rub it in your face when you are wrong. No one constantly calls you rude shit when you are wrong but when someone disagrees and/or is wrong with something you agree with, it's constant attacking.

I've complained about people complaining too, I do think it sucks, but oh well. But I also don't think I am more loyal than anyone. Just cause me and TB have different views on how to attack game threads doesn't mean I care more about these players then he does.

And also, these "type of people" or wtv, aren't the only type of people you are attacking. It's anyone that disagrees with anything you say, even if their mindset is fairly optimistic. I don't get that. I just don't.

Well theres no reason to try and separate yourself for the sake of separating yourself. Theres people who agree with what you say, and other times I think you think you are in far more disagreement with people then you really are. You're not always alone in your thoughts but the way you approach and respond you make it seem like you are, and your mindset is that you are.

No one has been too harsh or mean to you in this yet you continue to call everyone out and seem to want to push yourself out on that island further and further for no reason.

At the end of the day, everyone here (maybe not Koufax) believes in this team and is a loyal fan. Sure, I might call Punto/Hairston/Schumaker garbage in the GTs, but I still wish them the best and want them to succeed (just like anyone else that puts on Dodger Blue). Going against popular opinion, I don't think anyone here expects perfection.

not for the big picture, no
    but...
whenever one of our pitchers starts a game, do you not hope for him to throw a perfect game?
whenever one of hitters comes to the plate, do you not hope for him to go deep?
i know, those are drastic examples
but when someone makes an error on a routine play or swings at a bad pitch, isn't it our right as fans to be upset?
and what level of being upset is okay?... "oh shucks, darn!" or "you fucken imbecile, you suck!!!"
i don't think it's all that rare for fans to act unrealistic and say/think unreasonable things -- especially during the game

Well, hopefully thats the last I'll say about it. I think my thoughts are clear, along with everyone else who joined in, and BLF is who he is and he doesn't need to change for anyone.

Hopefully you don't take it as all of us hating you cause we disagree with your methods and you push yourself out further, but anyways, theres really not much more and I don't want this to be a 2-3 person discussion like its turning out to be and turn off more people from being how they want and join in on our regular Dodger game thread convos.

Lets talk beisbol, and well I hope this can be behind us soon and we're all better from it but we'll see, but right now I hope we can all just talk Dodgers and not scare away newcomers from joining us on our Dodgers streak of never losing

Yeah, we can be upset when it happens; but if Hanley or Adrian makes a key error for example, I may be pissed at that moment, but it's not like I'd want them to be off the team by any means. Same goes with just about anyone.
